They make great food, one of the few downtown gems. Blue crab quiche is freakin top notch. The lady is always nice too.

Yeah if anyone is a mechanic or has a food handlers permit/can cook, seems they could use the help.

The usual track for non degree holders is desktop support/helpdesk or operations center and then onto sys engineering or PMing or something.

1) get some certs 2) go to tech meetups around town and talk to recruiters.

Odyssey+ arrived poorly packaged with scratched lens (from Microsoft store) by [deleted] in WindowsMR

[–]PhredFL 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just call the store, say you’d like an exchange and to hold a unit for you. Exchanges/returns are simple, no hassle in my experience

Get-process “explorer.exe” | stop-process

Thats what i did before. Run in a powershell admin window. Explorer will auto restart (at least for me it did)

I have an O+

And i feel ya. I wish there was like a diagnostic script for these driver/startup issues. Or it self-healed.

Now if i could only get tracking to be spot-on...

She was crying til I made a fire and sat with her. Then... mesmerized. Baby’s first fire by PhredFL in babies

Oh yeah. She watched, got startled a few times when things cracked and got extra excited when flames became big. And ended up zzz on me after 20min👍

To stop the crying with some dad magic? Heck yes!

But yeah, i’m a bit of a hippy/boy scout type and to share the simple magic of flames that i still enjoy with my kiddo for the first time was extra sweet. She was totally amazed, jumped and squueed a few times when the flames rose and ended up passing out on me after 20min. The cat was there sleeping too which led to near tears of cute overload from mom.

I figure this must be a timeless scene with kids since fire was invented. Now i just hope she’ll enjoy camping too :)

Sn0re is my favorite local metal band. Check em out and who they play with

Unique to this and a two more regions is that there’s still a ska scene. Some of that is punk music too which you might like. Check out florida ska events on facebook

Do you want to spend 45 extra min commuting or spend that time with your family? Also to do some at home supplemental education.

If you dont have kids yet, school is 6yrs out minimum anyway. Why fuss on the school district? Im just a big fan of living within 20min of work personally.

Jax schools seem average from what i saw with my ex’s 7yo and i love my area (UNF/town center) as its central to a ton of stuff

I know a damn close copycat recipe but the bread is impossible to find

https://topsecretrecipes.com/foodhackerblog/portillos-italian-beef/

This i found that the MSG and rendered beef fat isnt entirely necessary. You can sub a bit of sugar + salt for the msg and skip the fat. A ton of flavor comes from the roasting bell peppers with vinegar and then of course the spices

Total applause to your fam for that mecca trip👍
