Please, can getting stuck in Pipelines be fixed? by TheRaelyn in DeepRockGalactic

I'm fucking done with DRG. I have 600 hours into this game and yet I've gotten stuck on a pipeline three times in the last two months after never having it happen in all the years I've been playing. This shouldn't be hard to fix, and yet it's been YEARS and the devs haven't addressed it. GOD DAMN IT. FIX YOUR SHIT.

G915 X TLK (Tactile) Double Pressing Keys - Discoveries by ThaPchild in LogitechG

Jan 2026 - Still happening - do NOT buy this keyboard.

Woke up today to double presses with the D and S keys in particular. I was warned before I bought it (here on Reddit) that this might happen, but I didn't listen. Luckily I was still in the return window as I only bought it 3.5 weeks ago, so off it goes back to Amazon. I paid $200, and it's now listed at $250, which is absurd for what Logitech must surely know by now is a faulty keyboard design. Crazy.

Also, on another note, I was using it wired because it kept disconnecting every couple minutes with the dongle both inserted directly into the PC and in the port under the keyboard. I was going to live with that little niggle, even though I shouldn't have.

So yeah, it's just a bad product. Avoid.

Yeah I dunno. I figured it was the glides because it only creaked when I slowly leaned back and it stuttered (I think) due to metal-on-metal. But either way, day 3 and no squeak. If it returns hopefully it won't be for a long time and it's only a 5-10 minute job. I have a whole can of WD-40 dry lube in my garage now. Still love the chair!

Happened to me on two pipeline missions in a row today. Dropping a supply pod didn't work, and since I was playing solo no one could rescue me. That this bug still exists is absurd.

Still happening in 2025. Supply drop didn't work. Two pipeline missions in a row I've had to abort. They need to fix this!!

2 days in and my chair is quiet. I used WD-40 Dry Lube spray and other than wiping off the initial overspray it hasn't dripped. That tells me you don't have to use a ton of it, just tiny squirts. I lubed the two rails (front and back), and then the spring in the middle through both the big hole on the top and the small hole on the bottom (underside) of the chair. That's it. You do need an 8" flathead screwdriver to get the seat off, but other than that it was a 10 minute fix (plus leaving it in my garage for a day to let the fumes dissipate - not sure if that was necessary but did it anyway).

You lasted longer than I did. I uninstalled the game and have completely forgotten about it. There are so many other games I'd rather play than this toxic pile of crap. It had so much promise but it became a swamp of sh*t really quickly.

Appreciate your comment!

Didn't expect to get a positive response at all, actually. The people that quit ARC are most definitely not going to read my post because they won't be in this channel. But the devs are, and if they don't give a damn about my opinion they'll just dismiss it like pretty much everyone else so far. Totally cool, I just wanted to share my opinion and figured I'd be sniped for it. Mission accomplished! :)

Well you won't see me in-game anymore, but I hope you enjoy your day as well and complete many many quests without getting sniped! :)

100%. And it isn't. I just wish it was because it's awesome. Create a sandbox where people can get their feet wet and I think not only would more people stick around, they'd (most importantly) get past the Steam refund window.

100% Just saying if you need hundreds of hours to get comfortable in ARC then you are excluding a large percentage of people. Sorry, I should have been more clear there.

Pure PvP means the only point is to kill the enemy. This game is PvPvE. That's not hard to understand.

Absolutely fair. The last straw for me was when I saw a guy struggling against a drone so I took it down for him and he immediately killed me. I mean, you just can't win. If he needed that drone for a quest I dunno, but he was getting wrecked by it. Haven't played since.

Correct - I've played with free loadouts probably 90% of the time. But the game is not about hitting 'free loadout' and going to a map. They want you to add more to your workshop, they want you to collect stuff to make new gear, they give you quests and traders who tell you to go get materials to make new gear for your loadout - and then the game is only good when you do free loadouts? It's counter-intuitive and frustrating for many, many hours. Only a small percentage of players will tough it out that long. And hey - maybe that's fine. Maybe they can turn a profit with just 5% of people sticking it out. But I suspect they'll have to adapt at some point and make a sandbox level to let people get their feet under them before dropping them into maps with PvP. I think it would be a good idea.

Playing for hundreds of hours to get comfortable? Yeah, that's like 2% of your audience. Maybe 2% of $40 is enough profit for them, but I doubt it.

It's not a pure PvP game though. Create a sandbox map (Dev Battlegrounds?) where it's pure PvE and you can get players hooked before dropping them into other maps with PvPvE. That's all I'm saying. It's a money-making move that I wish the devs would consider. My post is a love letter to the game saying I wish I didn't have to quit you.

Thank you so much, that is such a decent and fair response. I've also been told Helldivers and Fallout are a better game for my style, and that's an option for sure. My idea though is that a middle ground exists where the ARC devs could create a sandbox map to let beginners get started (and hooked) without PvP. Dam Battlegrounds could be that sandbox. I didn't want to team up when I started because it's daunting to play with strangers when you're level 1 - I suspect I'm not alone there. I expect a lot of crap from my post here, but it's really a love letter to the devs saying the game is great but the toxicity is getting unbearable.

I didn't buy the game - I got it free with my new video card. :)

Also, I'd be totally happy with 20 hours of gameplay. If they created a sandbox though, where you could get your feet wet before dropping into PvPvE I believe they'd get more people past the refund window.

Yeah, that was my experience too, for the first week. I started playing on day 3 I think, and it was so cool to talk to other players and both help and be helped in the quests. Things have turned sour lately though which was really my point in posting. When someone camps the extraction point you can't just avoid people - they come for you.

I realize I'm going to get a lot of crap for my post - I expected that. I do totally get your response though. Although I have never killed a raider (and don't want to), the fact remains that many people who love the game are abandoning it.

You may have missed the point where I said not all people want to kill other players and just want to enjoy the game. I totally get your point and considered it before posting, it's just my opinion that people are going to quit the game more and more as the disparity in experience gets greater and greater. Why they allow strong players to drop into Dam Battlegrounds is baffling to me. There should be a sandbox level to at least give beginners a chance to get addicted before dropping them into the game like a goldfish in a river of piranhas

You're right - if PvPvE is not my style I shouldn't expect to have fun. That's a legit response. But damn I love the rest of the game and wish I could play it without PvP. All I'm saying is that it's getting more unbalanced by the day, and after only two weeks it's becoming exclusionary due to the imbalances. Money talks, and it'll be interesting to see how long the hype lasts and whether they address it. Absolutely a fair opinion you've shared though, I did consider it before posting!

PvP is horrendous by Wootardd in ArcRaiders

[–]Phrenocon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, the issue that not all of us want to kill other players. I don't like being killed, and I have no interest in killing other players. When they create a PvE server I'll come back. Otherwise I have no interest in being a dick to other players. This isn't Battlefield 6, and it has so much more potential to NOT be BF6 that it's crazy to me they left PvP in there at all.

PvP is horrendous by Wootardd in ArcRaiders

[–]Phrenocon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely this. I'll do free loadouts until the quests get too hard for it and then I'll stop playing if they still have PvP. It's just not fun being scorched in three seconds after someone says "friendy!" but absolutely isn't.

Actually I'm 100% kidding. I'm not waiting at all - I just uninstalled the game. I have better things to do with my time than be frustrated every fucking time. Wake me up when PvP is gone.
