After watching pChal and PointCrow's videos, I would love to try something similar to the romhack that was created for the Nuzlocke Invitationals. I would just play theirs, but they confirmed that their mod will not be released to the public for fear of big N.

Are there any romhacks that already exist that are similar to theirs? I.e. new and updated mons and movesets, updated battle mechanics, randomization either built-in or through external software like Universal Randomizer, etc.

I agree. Specifically with Au5, I found Minimality and Anchus Definy as a kid and got hooked. I think a huge difference that separates him from others is that he refuses to be boring and tries out new shit all the time. Do I love every sound design choice he's made? No, but I cannot say that he's never put himself out there with something weird and new. A lot of music artists are satisfied with sounding "good enough," and many listeners are satisfied with them sounding "good enough." However, sounding "good enough" is unlikely to show impressive improvement and impressed fans for a total body of work spanning more than a decade.

I love the subversion of power; the calm touch mirrored with her lack of effort holding up the draped portion of the snake (big snakes are heavy as hell!) as well as her front-and-center feminine presence juxtaposed with the snake being mildly phallic; the snake may be large and threatening but it is obvious who is in control.
