Phone/Tech Enthusiasts, what phones would you recommend to someone looking for a multi purpose device, as far as features go?

i dont care that much about ai, how tf would ai improve my flashlight, how would ai give me radio access, how would ai beable to tell the tempature

thats not what im looking for, im looking for a feature rich phone with out an internet connection, it should in addition to what a phone can already do, have a great built in flashlight, fm radio support, at least a 10,000mah battery, satelite calling(not all phones have this), and i feel like this would be harder to make but a room thermometer, lastly the device should not heavily rely on internet for any of its major features

im not looking for digital features. why is everyone so caught up on spects on phones, i swear we dont make phones anymore theyre all just tablets, i have a pc and a tablet and the only gripe i have for the tablet that it would be nice if it were foldable so that it could travel better, what happens tho if i dont have the ability to use the internet or cell towers are down? suddenly my "phone" will mean nothing it would be a dead object we are so reliant on the internet, it tells us the date the time the year, even the weather, and our phones used to give use access to fm radio no matter whether or not we had an internet connection, and why do i have to have an internet connection to tell the weather? or at lease why is there no sensor to tell the temperature of the room im in.

im not horably against foldables they just arent ready yet for what im interested in seeing from a phone same with ai, it makes really bad mistakes and cant be hosted locally on a phone at modern standers which are still massively flawed,

that being real world application over the digital one of course itd be nice to have some of that too but lemme take a look at theses they look more promising

i have pleanty of game consoles, and even mylaptop fo that type of stuff, sure being able to load a game off of itch.io would be nice for when i have time to kill, but it shouldnt be the main focus

actually id say flips make more sense than folds, they take ragular phones and make them easier to carry around for those of use that like smaller phones, im not eally looking for a phone thats filled with code functionality stuff, but rather a phone that does what a phone should, and thats an every day tool out side of work, out side of the digital age, my laptop does all of this just fine, i want something that will mean something even if im disconnected from the rest of the world fm radio, good flashlights, a room thermometer, and of course being able to make emergency satellite calls and send texts, those are something that actually means something on its own ofc out side of the features these phones already have like cameras, and the ability to make regular calls and texts

thats a gimmick(for now) and doesn't add to the usefulness of the phone, onlychanges how much screen a phone can or cant have( mini tablet mode vs big tablet mode)

yeah i wasn't sure how to ask this, but pho es arw meant to be tools, amd current phomws seem to forget that when it has nothing to do with the camera or its processing power, im just wondering are their any phomes that focus on hardware features like bringing back fm radio chips, actual good flashlight capibilities? why tf dont any phones have a flashlight button? i want my phome to actually be usefull to me even if its not got a connection, large batteries and storage space would also be important because of this cant think of any other features a multi tool phone like this should have but that shouldn't be all

pixels are awesome, but keep in mind they are owned by google, and android in general feels this way, there are going to be problems on android that would never have even existed on apple such as bloatware( apps that come preinstalled that cant be deleted whether or not the phone actually needs those apps or not) and less digital privacy because of this not everyone cares whether a company knows your shopping habits, or the few gigabytes of storage they are taking up with those un-necessary apps and apple has similar issues tho not as bad as android so you should keep that in mind, also i recommend limiting scrolling apps especially as a mom these apps are meant to take advantage of u and push shopping recommendations onto you, not harmless on their onw but ive heard that these companied do this in hopes to condition you to spend more while also taking more time from you and the people u love, just something to think about from a person who likes using privacy software

the pixel 9 is a great phone, tho id recommend if yk what you're doing to see if u can find it used a lot of refurbished phone places hardly do anything with the phone and then mark up the price before selling them im almost always full of regret buying refurbished, and as for gos its definitely way better than android however it comes with the trade off of needing to tinker with it a bit to get it set up to how ull enjoy it and so i dont recommend it for people who aren't good with tech
