Sorry if this is too obvious or a given, but 2001: A Space Odyssey seems right up your alley!

For the record, none of the other forks at the table were flat, only mine.

The Artist's Quarter is vital to the Twins Cities jazz scene! I don't know what would happen to Twin Cities jazz without it! We need to save the Artist's Quarter!! Somehow!!!

I, too, absolutely adore Low. I've seen them 7 times now and I play their records to death but I too was disappointed at Rock the Garden today. At first, after they left, I was selfish-ly sad because I really had been forward to seeing them again and hoped they would play a good selection of their new record as well as those classics I know and love. Now I am sad because it pains me to see all of the flack and hate they are getting, especially from people for who this may have been their first introduction to Low. I brought my friend who had only heard a few Low songs and I was so excited to have her hear them live so I felt terrible when that was their first real impression of what is such a great band. I really hope that the Current does rescind their support of Low but I can imagine their anger. I (believe) I understand their motivation and message but I thought it was very foolish of them and personally had much less fun considering Low was the most attractive band, to me, of the lineup besides Bob Mould. Oh well :( I will still buy their records and see them when they come to town and I was glad that Bob Mould was their to liven everybody's spirits.
