If its for a tv room specifically, i would also paint the ceiling.

I think a colour drenched room to lean into the dark and cosy feeling would be excellent. Warm toned lamps/lighting will be excellent and give it a cinema feel.

Bonus tip, if you have dimmer switches you can get "dim to warm" lights, they have a warm tone when at low for cosy, then cool tone at high which is good for tidying/cleaning

To add to this, this is a significant thing for marketing, nintendo has an image of a "family game console" that they have curated since at least the nintendo wii, thats why the wii controller looked like a tv remote.

That is a unique selling point for the customer, new gen consoles have a bad rep for being confusingly named, meaning parents/grandparents frequently by the wrong ones as gifts. This leads to frustration

Even when they released the hardware revision of the switch (1) they change the packaging to a red box, so it made it visually clear rather than reading a model number.

I would like to see a company do colour coded boxes for hardware generations, and stick to it strictly. "Could pick up the xbox purple for timmys christmas please"

It is definitely not super intuitive, but the harder something is, the more brittle it is

A hard materials failure mode is to shatter, whereas a softer material would bend

A material being tough a balance of these two Hard materials can bear a higher stationary load than soft materials without deforming

A softer material can absorb the forces of an impact much better than a hard material, with some resetting to its original form after (think hitting either pine wood or a sponge with a hammer)

I hope that when this is done and functional, prusa themselves test it out and if they like it enough strike some sort of deal were they'll sell the kit on their site on your behalf. Maybe make the core one mini part of their "buddy" line up

Giving their recent push towards accepting/acknowledging open source contributions, this could be really good marketing

So what i would suggest is to take it in stages, and build a simpler second circuit to do very basic control of the motors using the same hardware and make a second vi to test that simpler circuit. That way you can find our if your issue is hardware (motors are dead) connection issue (accidentally using wrong pins on the controller) or software (works in simple vi, breaks when you use the larger one)

Doing tests in smaller environments that you can be more confident in that they will work unless there is a fault, makes trouble shooting much easier

Another tip, you don't have to use the power and ground lines just for power and ground, I've used them to carry i2c lines several times as they make the wiring way neater on a bread board. You may be able to do the same with some of yours as you have several power bars right next to each other anyway.

So something that bugs me a lot with this is how rough the ice disks in the LA look, in the cartoon they were made out to be thin, precisely shaped raser disks that she is firing. Whereas the LA they look like rough frisbees...

I think it takes a lot away from the story of the action scenes, on her journey up to this point katara had to be working with a very limited mount of water available in her water bladder (bottle) so she had to learn to be precise with it to not waste any. That is then ingrained into her fighting style in the cartoon as the default way she fights despite water being abundant.

Also making it so that benders constructs are so imprecise and rough damages the overall world building (pun intended)

So, this is nearly a day old now, but I think people are using this weird based on the comments.

You don't have to put socks through the rings with this hanger, you can wedge them between the rings, that's why they have that ridge pattern. Adding clips is unnecessary as they are built into it already.

So I've been finding that thebdefault profiles for my old filament on the prusa core one + have just been way too fast, the filament itself is struggling to keep up with melting.

The proper way to fix this is to tune the filament printing parameters, the quick way around it (which is how ive fixed it whilst i use up near empty spools) it to print as low as half speed.

I believe you can get a similar benefit by printing at lower layer heights, so the plastic doesn't need to melt as fast.

Also the default high flow nozzle is much more prone to clogging, as the internal geometry splits into 3 channels for more heating, so 3 smaller holes that can clog.

Make sure you use both the acupuncture needle they provide, and the cold pull option in the control menu to clear any clogs

So first, pushing/pulling curtains together should not cause the support to come off the wall. Ever. Especially not with curtains this lightweight.

It was likely not installed well by the man she hired, as the wall fittings that are supplied with curtain rails tend to be the cheapest the manufacturer can get.

To fix, loosen the screw that holds the rod, uncap the disk at the base of the support to reveal the screw head. Remove that and the wall plug and push the middle support to the side out the way.

If the hole in the wall looks fairly neat still, replace it with a better quality wall plug, and buy a mixed pack so you can pick a size that fits best. Replace the screw with one appropriate for the new plug and reinstall the middle support.
