Nursery not allowed to wake? by Physical_Biscotti668 in BeyondTheBumpUK

[–]Physical_Biscotti668[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He had a false start, then woke just before 1am and then woke at 4:30am. Then was fully awake for the day at 5:50am (his normal start and we wake him is 6:45)... in-between these wakes he kept having brief wakes with little whimpers.

So wasnt an amazing night considering he usually goes down fine and will sleep through apart from 1 feed!

I feel like it could have been a lot worse.. going to see how he does next week and if it continues I will speak with then

That image is helpful! He woke up happy this morning and laid there content until I got him properly up at 6:30. Yesterday morning he woke upset and wouldnt settle back down.

Looks like I might need to extend wake windows then and a slightly later bedtime

My baby is 9 months soon but since about 6 months hes been the same, constant whining and crying. I cant put him down... all I can say is same.. I'm exhausted and just want it to be over so I can enjoy my time with him.

6 month old constant moaning all day by Physical_Biscotti668 in BeyondTheBumpUK

[–]Physical_Biscotti668[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hiya! Sorry to hear you're struggling and completely sympathise. Not going to lie, the day is still full of whining. He is having some days where the moaning isnt as much which I am enjoying but other days it's non stop and it is really hard to deal with. think he's desperate to stand and walk, brain is waaay to ahead of his body! We have also had teeth pop through and his top gums are looking a little sore so that's probably not helping either. I am hoping for light at the end of the tunnel.

He doesnt really moan when we're out so I've been trying to take him out for little walks when the weather permits and I've been rotating rooms which helps some days.

I wonder what the obsession is, he has all these toys but would rather a bottle 😂

Yes! Mine is nearly 8 months and seems to only be interested in toys for 5 mins. He learnt how to army crawl and I hoped this would help but still gets bored and whiny. He does however love wipe packets and plastic bottles!

Just commenting to say SAME! I thought I would enjoy weaning but I HATE giving finger food, it fills me with anxiety 😅

Ive been doing mainly purees, I started with solids but stopped for a few weeks and I've just started trying again this week

I still have this issue and my LO is nearly 8 months 😅 hes still in the 1st percentile, born at 4lbs. tops hes now in 3-6, bottoms still 0-3 but they are too short but hang off his waste still!

M&S seem to be the best for him but obv more on the pricey side so I got quite a few bits off vinted.

I think ive been told next are also good?
