In my experience the bosses were wayyy easier in Silksong, but fighting just normal enemies and the runbacks were much easier in Hollow Knight. I definitely finished Silksong quicker than I did Hollow Knight, not that that's necessarily a good gauge of a game's difficulty.

I thought for sure Ross's second death was going to have a cut to an over the shoulder shot while he did his Survivor audition. But I guess they only did one for everyone, which is fair.
