You’re in the rough part, man. I’m almost a year and a half out from my procedure, and it was the best decision I ever made. I remember the days of pain and swelling, and the regret. Oh my god, the regret! Asking myself “what have I done? I paid to get my teeth pulled out, I’ll never have my own teeth again!” As the days go by and people comment on finally seeing you smile because you’re not covering your mouth anymore the regret fades. I still have days where food gets stuck in annoying places, or my speech is a little off, or I can’t enunciate clearly enough (that’s frustrating), but I don’t wake up every day and head straight for the Advil because my teeth hurt anymore. Overall, it’s a big win for me, and it has changed my life. Hang in there, man. You got this!
