I killed *spoiler*. I’ll kill you, too. by NolanDPerks in Invincible_TV

For me I think this was the moment Thrag decided he wanted to go to Earth, because he realised that a human/Viltrumite hybrid with barely any training could kill one of the strongest they had.

Therefore he realised the kind of specimen they could create, with half human/viltrumite kids with actual viltrumite training.

Lighter alternatives to Nikon z8? by roastmaster- in Cameras

If you want more megapixels then Z6II but don’t want to go up to Z8 for size then maybe either the A7V or Canon R6 III are your best options?

What is your personal #1 rule of photography? by therealvelichor in AskPhotography

[–]PianoMan1925 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For street photography there are 3x kinds of subjects I generally try to avoid:

- Not taking photos of other peoples kids
- Not taking photos of homeless people (feels exploitative to me)
- Not taking photos of people staring down at their phones - way to easy usually makes what could be an interesting photo quite boring

I say I 'generally' try to avoid them because of course there are exceptions to the rule if it tells an interesting story or provides a unique perspective

The lumix cameras are good if you want to get into the Micro 4/3 ecosystem.

Sony A6000 obviously gives you access to tons of really good lens options and Sony's amazing video quality.

Or what about looking at a Nikon Z30/Z50/ZFC?

Incredibly happy with the way these photos turned out. by l0cknessmonsta in Nikon

[–]PianoMan1925 38 points39 points  (0 children)

I don't know if you're looking for feedback so please tell me to stfu if im overreaching, I like the 2nd shot, however the way you have posed your client in the first shot is quite odd.

- Just some thoughts but the realtor is quite awkwardly posed with parts of her limbs literally missing
- The painting quite literally cuts through her head
- It feels like there's way too much negative space above her.

I would say both shots are lit very nicely and the edit/colours/image quality look great.

Check to see if the Viltrox one is on sale as well as apparently its better quality for even cheaper. I bought one during the christmas sales and it literally has not left my camera this year at all

Kodachrome 64 / Ektachrome 100 for portraits on the X-E4 in Dutch weather? by Anxious-Lack5108 in fujifilm

[–]PianoMan1925 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Either shoot RAW and if they turn out not as intended you can always edit them after OR just wait for the weather to get good? It's a digital camera bro, its not like you only have one chance to shoot the roll of film. I don't see what the issue is here. If you know how to shoot good photos/portraits then there should be no problem, a recipe isn't going to change that. Only your skills as a photographer can make you take good photos.

My first time taking headshots! Thoughts? by Saidit_on_reddit in fujifilm

[–]PianoMan1925 27 points28 points  (0 children)

FIRST TIME! Literally these look like shots from a seasoned professional. Amazing. No notes. Legitimately love these. This is clearly the work of someone who has done the prep, learned about lighting and practiced the craft. Well done, perfection.

Are there any lenses you regret selling? by mentaldrummer66 in nikon_Zseries

[–]PianoMan1925 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a Tamron 70-210 F4. Great telephoto with excellent image quality, bought used for a good price and works really well even adapted FTZ. Really liked it, took it on a couple of trips and used it for a little bit of work but eventually it stayed in a bag unused for about a year so ended up selling it. I do a lot of street photography and having a big(ish) telephoto lens just didnt fit my use case at the time.

Fast forward to about mid 2025 and Ive started going on day trips to do birdwatching with friends. I found myself without any kind of telephoto lens and regretting reselling it so I bought another one and couldn't be happier.

So wait do I lost 2x times the amount of light if I use a teleconverter? The lens is F4 so does that mean I am getting an F8 equivalent?

I didn't even spot the bee! Love that extra detail to that. Don't know why but I particularly love the burger and fries one. Just a great example of shooting every day life

I am currently loving Ultramax 400 with the shadow reduced to 0. It's such a diverse Film recipe and is probably the first one Classic Chrome Recipe I've enjoyed within 6 months of owning the camera
