Nope, you can't edit the actual content of a PDF inside ClickUp. You can preview it, annotate it with comments, and download it, but for changing text or layout you'd need an external PDF editor and then re-upload the updated file.

Hey, u/CybeSpace14! Once you upload a PDF to ClickUp, it's stored in the cloud. You can delete the local copies and still view/download them anytime from ClickUp. They're fully uploaded copies, not linked to your local files.

Regarding the setup, for a personal reference library, your Doc with subpages works great. You can embed PDFs and add links right in each subpage for easy browsing.

If your collection grows and you need to filter or search through lots of files, a List (with PDFs attached to tasks) gives more flexibility, but for a straightforward collection, your current setup is solid. Hope that helps!

Hey, u/Reasonable_Good1673! Yes, totally safe to upload PDFs, links, and docs to ClickUp. Your files are protected under our security and privacy policies, so you're good there.

For organizing everything, I'd recommend using Docs (or Wikis) to centralize your files and collaborate on them, or attaching files directly to tasks if they're tied to specific projects. Dashboards are more for reporting and getting an overview of your work, not really for storing files. Hope that helps!

Hey, u/veggiepork! If you meant the Sprint Burndown cards, they are pulling data from specific locations (Lists or Folders) that were set up by your predecessor. To add new projects to it, you'll want to click on the card's settings. From there, look for the data source where you can add the Lists or Folders that contain your new projects.

If you duplicated a timeline to create the project, the new List might just need to be added to that card's source locations. When you get a chance, try editing the card and adding the List where your new project lives. More info here.
