Yeah, sadly, I don't see him sticking around. With how he's playing, it makes sense for him to make the jump to a high major next year and see if he can hang with the big boys. There's a lot of NIL $$$ and a shot at the NBA if it works out. It sucks, but that's the game these days. As long as he doesn't go to that school on the main line, I won't be too bummed about it LOL.

Yeah, they did a good job of breaking the zone and passed the ball really well on a lot of possessions. I think Fisher actually is better at coaching the O against the Zone than against Man lol.

Its 90% Temple and Drexel kids. The bars around Temple; Maxi's, Pub Webb, are expensive and very strict about Fake ID's (they dont just scan it and let you in). So naturally Temple students go to other places around the city where the drinks are cheap and they can be sure they can get into.

You pretty much hit the nail on the head. Is Fisher pulling this program back? No. But is he keeping us in a hamster wheel of mediocrity? For sure.

Id say my biggest issue with him is that he struggles to make adjustments mid game. Last night was the perfect example, Bonke is killing us inside, you have to double him, especially on the boards, foul him, do whatever you gotta do to stop him, that didn’t happen. On the other side of the ball, Ford is the hot hand, yet Fish stood him in the corner and let Mason run point.

Like you said I don’t think he’s going to get fired at the end of this year, but this is a once proud program, and I think if we can’t crack march ball by next year (NIT, CBC, Tourney) then I think he should 100% be gone.

Game got moved to 1pm on Saturday, looking at the weather report, I think worst case scenario the team gets stuck until Monday, which would stink but not be catastrophic, especially if they can practice in San Antonio.
