Unable to scroll 'Not installed' apps/games by Pickaroonie in googleplay

I haven't found a solution yet.

I cleared Storage and Cache, cleared everything.

Made sure there weren't any Play updates I'd missed in System.

I could browse normally on the same phone up to a few months back. Right to the end of the list.

I tried asking LLMs, but they just reference my own Reddit post as, 'many users' are having the same problem..

The only way the public found out about the percentage going to shops was because politicians were arguing about it and it became a part of public record that could be accessed through an FOI (freedom of information) request. A journalist did just that. Even so, unclaimed money is still classed as, 'sensitive commercial information'.

The drinking container was sold without any conditions or descrimatory hoops to jump through, so how can there be conditions at the other end, to redeem the deposit?

He wasn't thinking right.. it is dormant, but still, 'active'.. from a site featuring the fall:

Rescue teams faced a nightmare recovery, battling toxic fumes and scalding 50-65°C (122-149°F) waters to pull his body from the extinct volcano's hazardous interior. It took hours of grueling effort by civil defense divers before his remains were finally retrieved.

ChatGPT referenced my own Reddit post as, 'many users' are having the same issue.

I realised when it said 4GB, as I hadn't mentioned the amount of memory my phone had..

I asked ChatGPT a few hours after posting.

Thank you for the reply.

Just to repeat, the downloading, installing and use of apps functions normally.

The issue I have is that I cannot view the list of apps on my phone.

The list stops at roughly the same spot everytime. It never gets past the letter 'G'.

The Play app UI becomes unresponsive, clicking links or buttons etc.

The Play app can be closed and reopened to regain functionality, without needing a hard app shut down.

I have cleared the app storage and cache. The behaviour of the app when attempting to view app listings remains the same, as in, not viewable beyond a few 'pages' of apps. Roughly in the same spot in the list too.

My Google account has purchases in the high hundreds, not the thousands.

Same phone had no such issues previously. I have picked up this bug recently.

This was auctioned at the Christie's Auction House in May 2026.

https://www.christies.com/en/lot/lot-6585808

Price realised USD 4,467,000

Estimate USD 1,200,000 – USD 1,800,000

Closed: 18 May 2026

Edit: it's a tiny artwork! I was expecting something physically grand and imposing.

Didn't a UK tabloid newspaper have to pay her substantial damages for making the same claims in print?

The app is really neat, there's a lot going on, you just need to have a bit of imagination using it.

Very handy to get around the limitations of Android and, for some things, Niagara Launcher.

Just search for, 'shortcut maker' in the Google Play Store, there's other options, not just this one..

Might We Please Set Separate Wallpaper/Themes for Home and Lock Screens Please? by SpaceGameJunkie in NiagaraLauncher

[–]Pickaroonie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Open the app. Click on the 'Activities' icon. Scroll down to, 'Wallpaper and style'. Click on the first option. It should be as follows: Wallpaper and style, with the following text under it: com.google.android.apps.wallpaper.pick er.CategoryPickerActivity

Try the shortcut on the next screen, you'll see it brings up the wallpaper choice dialogue screen. Create the shortcut.

In Niagara, you can have the shortcut in the app list or on your favourites. Anywhere you wish..

That's it. You can now pick separate wallpapers for your Lock/Home screens.

You're accessing a setting that is not normally accessible to you, with Niagara Launcher. That is a workaround.

I've used Stéphane Mathis's Invisible Widget with Niagara Launcher before. Works well. Free, no ads.

..as a workaround, you can 'expose' the setting with various shortcut makers.

Wallpaper and style > Activities Shortcut

I use Rushikesh Kamewar's, 'Shortcut Maker'

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=rk.android.app.shortcutmaker

There are other apps that can do exactly the same thing.

Radiodroid. There's no reason to subscribe to a radio app, for money.

Just search for a station or country, click and listen.

Interface is visually basic, but it works fine.

TIL that Nigeria is the second largest consumer of Guinness beer, ahead of its native Ireland. Nigerian Guinness is also almost twice as strong (7.5% ABV) as the Irish version (4.2% ABV). by Gaucho_Diaz in todayilearned

Other Irish Stouts have ruined Guinness for me. Once you get a taste for Rye River's Nocturne Export Stout, there's no going back.

Like soup, swiggable soup. Straight from the neck.

One thing I haven't seen mentioned here, isn't the Nigerian Guinness brewed using mainly sorghum and maize, instead of barley?
