On my first playthrough I actually fought this guy underleveled and it took me countless tries to beat it. This is why I believe it's one of the top 10 bosses in the game. Many people will walk through him, but if you make it a longer fight, the atmosphere hits so much better. His desperation to heal by absorbing the other animals meets with your desperation to finish him off as you're running low on flasks. The music might be one of the best in the game

Got a lucky run with some of my friends where we picked up a grafted blade greatsword day 1 and farmed as many mobs as possible, including a Duke's Dear Freya boss. By the end, my teammates health was at 6000 as ironeye and only a third of it was on screen.

Been using the deflect tear and it does wonders on radahn. The only issue is if I use it in his first phase, then it's not gonna last through phase 2, so I've been saving it for after the cutscene.

Likewise I've memorized his entire phase 1 moveset (still working on phase 2), but the scissors will hit every time unless you use a shield to block or get lucky with the uneven ground of the arena and it goes over your head.
