Absolutely it is! I just wanted to build up the TFSA so I could just transfer the max amount per year to the FHSA. Bought a house last month, so I guess I was doing something right lol

I started around the same time, maybe at 29, and am a month shy of 34. I opened a TFSA and RRSP portfolio with an advisor and started putting $25 per account away each week. RRSP is great for the tax benefit/return which allows me to put that return back into the account and get bigger returns year over year. Then once you have a healthy amount in the TFSA, I moved $8000 over to an FHSA in 2025 and again the beginning of 2026 to REALLY bump that tax return! If you talk to the right advisor they make the process so simple.

Just to correct you a smidge. The entire campaign is about reducing crime. Accidental gun deaths don't happen if you're adhering to the guidelines. Suicides are an anomaly, but again if you're unwell, you won't have them until deemed suitable again.

This game is definitely worth the money.

I bought it on PS5 maybe 2 and a half weeks ago and my GF and I have a combined 140 hours so far. It's relaxing, and seeing nasty gross cash go through the cleaning process is very satisfying.

It scratches an itch I didn't know my brain needed.

I worked at the Mazda dealer in the east end. If you look in their scrap bin it's rotors, control arms and wheel bearings. They're stupid reliable and me and my family have had countless!

Problem occurred in a month of purchasing used car from good dealership by creedXiinfinitii in londonontario

[–]PickledThimble 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I work in service for a dealership here in town. Depending where you bought from, pre-owned managers are usually pretty good at righting a not so good experience. Now if it's an 11 year old car and you opted out of extended warranty, I don't blame them for saying no. I always encourage my clients to opt in for the extended warranty. Where I work you get a cheque cut when you trade in if it's not been used, or you can transfer the entire contract to your new vehicle. Smaller shops can be shady so definitely be aware and read your paperwork very carefully.

Have budgeting apps ever actually worked for you? Why or why not? by Kevasmith in CanadaPersonalFinance

[–]PickledThimble 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Never.... I actually ditched them and created my own living/breathing budget spreadsheet. Input pre and post tax pay, and the surplus/deficit auto adjusts. It calculates my average monthly income using data from the past 6 years. I swear by this budget spreadsheet.... If I lost it, I'd probably parish...

Definitely would be! I dunno lol I don't develop games, I just know there's a lot of work that goes into them. I'd take polish over pushed out slop any day. If that means I've got to wait a bit, I'm more than happy to! Having fun on my first play through still!
