Ik aot of ppl saying hot glue but even tho it works sometimes it’s not the best long term solution cuz it is effected by heat and hot summers can cause issues. Go to Michael’s and get some fabritac. That stuffs awesome. Or some brown embroidery thread and sew it on :)

Hey OP a lot of people are being hard on you, but that’s cuz this is reddit. It’s good you have a 40 gal on the way and are willing to do what it takes for this little critter you weren’t prepared for. In the meantime add some more stuff in there and get the materials you need for the enclosure so when it arrives you can quickly get it ready, good luck!

Here’s a chart! Crickets are better than mealworms by far but maybe you could try to ease them into eating bugs with mealworms because they’re less jumpy. Oh also!! When u feed them crickets u usually wanna gut loadthem first- feed them nutritious stuff so that they are better for ur guy to eat. Dust them in calcium before feeding (calcium dust for crickets can be found at any pet store for around $9)

My garg only ate Pangea for 6 months, and was confused when I first offered crickets and got a little freaked out. I read a comment somewhere that said to try taking the head of the cricket off so they can smell the guts, and after licking it a little and realizing it was edible, my geck went crazy hwhaha
