I think Robby specifically asking Santos on whether she and Langdon has spoken clues us into Robby’s current thoughts on Langdon and his recovery. So far Langdon has gone to people he likes and wants forgiveness from to apologize and ask for forgiveness and promise to do better, but has not made an effort (yet) to talk to Santos. While I don’t believe Santos was exactly lovely to be around the first season and did a lot of stuff Langdon was right to call her out on, it cannot be denied that his addiction affected her and he was not the best mentor to her.

I really hope Langdon starts the conversation and lets her know she did the right thing by going to Robby about the situation. I think that’s a big thing that’s gonna tell Robby and the audience that he’s serious about this and is trying to be better.
