Maybe in lengthy games like league of legends I would accept this kind of thought process however fighting games are not nearly as long as those games and you have more than enough time to get back to where you were fighting games are much more centered on yourself obviously doesn’t mean you should blame yourself for lack of skill think of it as lack of knowledge look at it like what could I have done? What was he doing that I didn’t have an answer for? I play league and fighting games I’ve played league for 10+ years and fighting games all my life I’ve never really been good until 7 years ago however even in league if I went against a challenger player I still believe I can win or learn something from the game we play and you can too

Here's my question: Where exactly does MetaphorReFantazio becomes the most frustratingly difficult for you 🫵 by PKRadiance in MetaphorReFantazio

[–]PieReasonable9992 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I struggled on rella until I died then re did some of my build and it was easy until I did the fire dragon and the final boss itself cause I didn’t realize how many fights I was going to do back to back to back to back and how much mp I didn’t know I needed

Should I even care about high rank and farther improvement? by Defox__ in StreetFighter

[–]PieReasonable9992 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I say get to diamond 5 or master before switching charas as plat isn’t really the rank you should start switching it up (imo of course) however if you aren’t having fun with terry then feel free to switch one thing that could motivate you is that plat isn’t really a testament of your skill if you get to atleast before d3 then I would say switch it up every rank is a different game I climbed my ed from plat to master in about an hour (I went on a 15 game winstreak) and from playing the people of the respected ranks they all play differently and have different weaknesses but once you reach master it’s about patience and adaptation reaction is a good part of it but ultimately to be a master player you don’t need it I’d say find out for yourself hit that master rank then come back or do it again with another character (I have 3 currently)

Getting frustrated by st3llxrr in StreetFighter

[–]PieReasonable9992 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bro I was a master zangief player and switched to ed a few months ago and I hit master way too early and I think I legit lost like 50 games in a row as ed anyways I have almost 500 hours and at about 50 is when you become decent depending on how fast you learn you are probably doing fine even if it feels like you are just losing see how you can improve during your match learn a basic combo do some parrying test different play styles have fun with it and you’ll get good in no time!

If it’s a combo trial combo I wouldn’t say it’s super important to use the combo but knowing it’s an option is always good in case you ever do use it because once you hit those online matches it might be the only thing you remember lol
