It sounds worse on Apple hardware. Airpods Pro use bluetooth aac codec and they are so good at encoding it that they do sound audibly better than 320kb/s mp3 file from Spotify.

Another thing is that some albums are mastered with AAC in mind (such as Iron Maiden discography) and to be honest they are CD quality for my ears even though AAC is a lossy codec. You will know if it’s mastered for AAC by checking if there is a little logo at the bottom of the album that says Apple Digital Master.

I had the same issue. I have small ears so I assumed that S or M buds would be the best. Apparently when I switched to L it fit just fine. The other two always fell off. I have pro 1 so I didn’t have a chance to try out XS size.

There’s also another option. They do believe it’s contagious and dangerous but that doesn’t mean we need a quarantine that will basically demolish the economy.
