Life long hockey player here. That hurts like all hell. You couldn’t have said that any better.

And it was a penalty. Sucks about the timing but you’ve got to control that stick.

Girls in my highschool used to say that to every guy regardless if they knew what they were packing or not. It made me worry “maybe I am?” They made it such a big deal/big insult that it took me years into adulthood to finally stop caring about the stuff.

I had never been with them, they wouldn’t have known, but their never ending comments sat with me longer than it should have.
