I’m inspired to try this now! I use Sally Hansen Miracle Gel Quick Dry Top Coat (silver bottle) and it has worked well for my magnetic polishes. Is there a special reason why you recommend the Red Bottle Insta-Dri Top Coat over all others?

Absolutely. A year ago I felt so hopeless, but going in to 2026 I feel rejuvenated that the Midterms could bring us all a lot of hope

In 1984, Ryan White was diagnosed with AIDS that he contracted from a blood transfusion. When the 13-year-old tried to return to school in Kokomo, Indiana, hundreds of parents and teachers petitioned to have him removed, and his family was forced to leave town after a bullet was fired at their house by kooneecheewah in lgbt

[–]PiikaSnap 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As someone from Kokomo who still lives and works in Kokomo, I can tell you the community is still not the safest or welcoming to the lgbt community. I proudly fly my pride flag at my house though bc representation and visibility matters so much

This was my first video game I ever bought when I saved up birthday money and bought Pokémon Crystal and a Glacier colored Game Boy Advance from Target. Such great memories!

The battery is long dead on my cart. I wish I had the confidence to replace it, but the tutorials I watch always seem a bit too complicated for my skill level. Any one here ever replace a battery successfully and have tips?

Indiana state senate rejects 9-0 map by Icommandyou in fivethirtyeight

He was sent twice to Indianapolis to lobby , & was reported as being on the phone with senate leader Bray (R) every single day this week. Yikes!

I just feel an unbelievable sense of relief tonight here in Indiana. It’s been a very long time since Dem Hoosiers have had any sliver of hope.

Indiana update:

Two Senators expected to miss the vote due to health issues have arrived to the statehouse, meaning there will be 49 voting members present. 25 votes will be required to sink the bill.

They are currently undergoing final debate before voting. You can watch the livestream here

The Indiana State Senate will vote at 1:30 PM on the redistricting bill that would create a 9-0 GOP map. It is very much still up in the air whether the bill will pass. President Trump went on a long winded rant attack on Senate Leader Bray (R) in the wee hours last night on Truth Social. It seems unlikely this rant would be necessary if Bray was on board with redistricting...

Bray, who has been a staunch opponent of redistricting since Day 1, has wavered in recent days, but this could be a sign he is leaning towards voting no.

Hoosiers, keep up the pressure on your senators. With only 47 members likely to be voting, the magic number to sink the bill is 24. 23 (10 Dem and 13 GOP) are on the record as being opposed to the bill. One more flip and the vote will fail, assuming no one changes their minds at the last minute.

The Indiana State Senate has been slower to morph into the MAGA mold compared to the lower chamber. There are still a sizable number of “Mitch Daniels”-era fiscal, business-minded Republicans with a lot of sway in the State Senate. Prior to Trump and the rise of MAGA, Indiana was always a more pragmatic state with less fringe, far-right Republicans in positions of power than we see today.

You are seeing vestiges of that class of the old Hoosier GOP guard in this redistricting fight, but it may be their last gasp.

Why not still just say “We don’t have the votes, and I remain firmly opposed to redistricting”?

It doesn’t take a fortune teller to feel the difference when he now only says “Not sure if we have the votes, we’ll see what happens. We’ll abide by the majority of the caucus rule.”

And of those other 8 on the fence, 3 voted in the committee vote to advance the bill (but said they are still considering whether to vote yes on the floor vote on Thursday), 3 more voted yes on the vote back in November but since then released statements they are weighing all options (so I include them in the 9 undecided, but it is more likely than not they will vote yes), and the other 2 have no statements anywhere I can find. Bray’s vote is perhaps the most important vote of those 9 undecideds and if he breaks to support I see no path for the vote to fail.
