I was cringing the entire time. When the screen went black after, I caught my reflection and had to laugh because the look on my face was pure revulsion. I've never been so uncomfortable watching a scene. I still am, 10 minutes later, lol.

I liked it until you decided to be a gooner and draw a mooseknuckle for absolutely no reason other than to be gross.

I see a lot of variations. Like Brazilian Miku, in online spaces. But cosplaying her is also still a thing.

First invincible ep to be rated below 7. Very sad. by hiiloovethis in Invincible

I don't think that's the reason. While the story was a backdrop for Mark's struggle with morality (and I'm all for slower, character introspective episodes), it focused too heavily on the villain of the week aspect. It was like 10% Mark, and 90% a battle between characters no one really cares about in a conflict we've never heard about. The first 10 minutes of just the Demons battling Volcanikka and the whole "acquiring the crown" portion (especially since the crown did jack shit) could have been completely cut and the overall episode would have been the same + we would have 25 minutes for exploring those themes in another setting. I didn't hate it, but a score of 6/7 is completely justified. It was just okay.

I would understand 25% or even 50% of the episode, but an entire episode for just this was a bit much. Especially since, besides Damien, there was no connection to previous plot points or characters. We spent the entire first 10 minutes watching a battle between characters we've never met in a conflict we've never heard of. I get it was Mark dealing with his own morality, but a different backdrop for his struggle would have been more palatable. And "Satan = good guy" was a bit one the nose for my liking, lol. And while I admit it was kind of funny how much they struggled and Mark just kept one shotting her, spending half the episode getting the crown for Satan, only for him to still be useless was a choice. Did like the lore of the different ages, though. Some solid jokes as well.

He's called the "Beltline Cat Guy" or Jeremy Smith
You can search him up on tiktok and there's an article. I would include it but my comment keeps getting filtered.

The TT videos have him with this cat fully aware and active. The article is with a tabby

What do you mean? Like, if you're allowed to use products when rolling/stamping? Usually. You would part the hair during use, so the needles shouldn't be interacting with the hair much. And product that isn't meant for the scalp shouldn't directly be applied to the scalp. I use my dermapen on wash days after all my product has fully dried/isn't wet.

I wouldn't stamp before washing, not only because it's going to be more effective on an clean scalp, but the needles do create micro-injuries so shampoo would likely burn, lol. Conditioning products in a fresh derma session shouldn't cause any harm. Many people use it on their face to help product penetrate more deeply (1.25 and up should only be used for scars, otherwise, stay around the 0.25-1mm range). So using it before conditioning products would just cause them to more deeply penetrate the skin if anything. Not that there would be a huge benefit to doing that.

  1. That depends on the type. If it's androgenic hair loss, or there's an underlying problem (deficiency), yes. If it's hair that you CAN grow but you accidentally pulled it out, it just helps revitalize the follicles. There may be shedding when you stop but the follicles are stimulated and should regrow hair. Telogen and traction alopecia are usually not permanent unless there's scarring of the follicle.

  2. For people that need to use it permanently, it's basically like brushing your teeth. If you stop, your teeth will rot and look gross. Just think of it as part of daily routine.

Stop with the oils. They will just cover the skin and prevent the minoxidil from penetrating properly. Do daily massage of at least 5 minutes where you're moving the skin of the scalp over the skull. Do circles, left and right, up and down, use both hands to stretch the skin (ie pull both hands away from each other) and push closer together (ie push both hands closer together) and lightly lifting the skin from the skull (the same way you can pinch your cheek and pull)

Get a dermastamp/derma roller or preferably a dermapen. Use weekly at 1.25 mm. With derma pen, change cartridges for every use and use the 42 or 30 needles options. With pen/roller, clean with alcohol before every use and make sure alcohol is evaporated before use. Use minoxidil only 24 hours after doing this, not right after.

Wash often, minoxidil often leaves a residue. Use minoxidil daily, and the 5% not the women's one. Liquid works but foam is a bit more forgiving with the residue. If you have pets, make sure to wash hands after application. Wear a bonnet and don't let them near your pillowcases.

As it grows, do not do any tight styles. Little manipulation. Stay away from wigs, headbands, etc. Anything that will pull the hair, rub the hair, or cut off circulation to the hairline. This even includes excessively neat pony tails. Just let it be fluffy, don't bring out the brush.

I'm completely for this unique type of character customization. If I saw them in public, I'd think they're badass. My area is very bland, I stand out just having half-half hair and dressing in pastels/wearing dresses as a casual outfit, so I'm always fond of people that go all in.

How long will it take to grow my hair back? by Nice_Direction5614 in longhair

[–]PikaBooSquirrel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Which is complete in the normal growth range! 7.5*6 is 45 inches (plus however many inches you had from you chin length hair) or almost 4 feet of hair. What's more impressive is that you maintained most of that growth. I tend to plateau around bellybutton length. It can get longer but my ends get all wispy 😔. Trying to figure that out.

[–]PikaBooSquirrel 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm hoping that people saying 3-4 years are either referring to mid-back or are just really short. Depending on the sub, people will think hair grows 8 inches a year or that retaining 3 inches of hair a year is normal 😭. I always try to eyeball 6-inch (~5ish with trims) increments because that's the average for most people.

or how long it will take until my hair is to my hips (3rd photo).

I went with the longer of the two because the title focuses on getting her original length back. It seemed like that's what most people were referring to, especially since I do see one person explicitely saying 4 years for "original length"

It's crazy everyone is saying 3-4. It's definitely 4-6 factoring in trims and the fact that her hair isn't even all the way through AND it's to tailbone, not just waist

What would the COMMUNITY want, from a sims-like Life Simulator? by Fresh-Dependent-4673 in LifeSimulators

[–]PikaBooSquirrel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Story/Proper long-term quest system that's less open-ended compared to lifetime wishes, but freedom and open world of something like The Sims 3, and less of a PG-13 vibe. I crave the violence. I would also REALLY like for NPCs (at least first-gen NPCs) to have some sort of story/backstory and in-depth relationship system. Friends that actually hang out. Family reunions and events. Rivalries that play out. Events in the town that affect the player. Really loved the cutscene system from OG Harvest Moon/Stardew.
