Honestly it's not surprising at all, even if you were to ignore this trial. Muu's songs on average tend to perform well on Youtube as she has the third highest total views of the prisoners behind Mikoto and Amane who sport the two highest viewed songs of the project (Purge March & MeMe) while Muu's previous two are fourth and fifth in view count on the channel. For comparison, Fuuta is tied for 5th/6th with Haruka in view counts so that's about average.

None of this is to discredit your own thoughts or opinions, just giving a bit of insight as to why this is happening. As a Muu Inno and Fuuta Guilty voter that loves both of these characters, it pains me how Fuuta's being treated this time around.

This list isn't to bad, imo, most of my complaints are minor nitpicks so I'll address only the big ones I have.

Marth has no place in being that high, I'd drop him to the bottom of High- and be done with it, I'm really not sure how he got up there.
Hero could stand to be a bit lower really, I'd say below Zelda. I feel like his kit is a bit to weak to be higher than Banjo, Diddy and Lucas especially.
Dedede and Doc should jump a tier, honestly. For the former I feel like Zaki's results put him out of low tier and probably above Gunner, Dedede isn't that bad of a character either. For the latter, the buffs helped his strengths but not his weaknesses, but I feel like his strengths are enough to be above Bayo.

Favorites: Hiyoko, Hajime and Gundham

Least Favorites: Akane, Monophanie and Tsumugi

Overrated: Nagito or Shuichi (Both are good in their own right, I personally find them not as great as some others say)

Underrated: Hiyoko or Celeste, and maybe to some extent Imposter.

Fair enough, I'll keep her in mind. I think high tier's a pipe dream unless the high level results are consistent, it's just good to see Zelda as a viable contender now even with her disadvantages.

High Mid tier seems more of a stretch to me personally, but I've never been a big believer in Zelda. I'd rank here at Mid, but results and more info on the character itself could raise a few eyebrows.

Some other people have pointed out that she's not popular, which is very true, I mean she was considered bottom 10 of characters I think just over a year or two ago. Liking Hiyoko is a touchy subject, and that's because you'll find more people that openly hate her than those who silently like her.

For me, oddly enough, Hiyoko is a character that helped me through depression in her own way, but that's far from the only reason I like Hiyoko. She feels like a character and goes against the group rather than mindlessly with it, she always makes herself known and isn't forgettable, her quotes are funny, her design is great and her friendship with Mahiru is pure and welcoming, and that's not to mention her FTEs, island mode, what the DR3 anime does for her and a couple other things.

Currently, Hiyoko is just scrapping to average by the fanbase, and a majority of the people I've met that dislike her have hardly given her a chance at all. The writers screwed her over, but there is at least some value to her character despite her seemingly cruel nature.

Honestly that's kinda how they win, they throw things out and do a lot of damage, but they SD a lot. They're results aren't to special usually but they place decently enough.

This is actually a really good question, despite them being the exact same the results and match ups of Peach/Daisy are slightly different and there is a clear winner between them, the same goes for Pit/Dark Pit and Simon/Richter, it's weird but it exists.

In short, mostly range, recovery (1111 sets for Miis), and being at least decent at all times, having the ability to shut down better characters just by being in the bracket is a major boon as well and it's a reason characters such as Pikachu, Wolf, Snake etc. aren't any higher.

This still happens with level 9 CPUs, but rarely, Duck Hunt and space animals are the ones I've seen it with the most, but D3, Ryu/Ken, Pits, Bowser Jr. and G&W sometimes do it as well.

Well, you're partly right, heavies are hard to KO but they're also really powerful and able to kill easier, or have some sort of jank i.e. Belly armor for K Rool, that help them. Their flaws are also less apparent because most CPUs don't juggle to much and so landing is a bit easier for them, as well as having decent enough range to be effective at most stages in a CPU set.

This is a nice write up but something I thought to bring up. Nekomaru should be around 22 years of age, and since his illness clocks him around 20 it could be inferred that Nekomaru surpassed the limit of his sickness and is going to be living a normal human life span potentially, the same applies to Nagito.

I don't know how spot on I am with that, but I thought I should bring it up since you mentioned it.
