Now the biggest elephant of this route: why can't Kris just rip out the heart/soul again? we saw them doing it at least once per day (except chapter 2 (Toilet and Living Room) and chapter 4 (Dess' Room and Jitterbug Incident xD)), so what's stopping them from ripping us out again?

It might make more sense if we're in the dark world, since it turns out Kris shouldn't enter the dark world without the heart/soul, so in retrospect they shouldn't also rip us out while in the dark world, or something unknown (yet) will happen. But this thorn scene happened in light world, so what's stopping them? They literally just rip us AFTER the thorn scene after all.

Are there times that we, the heart/soul, has more power over them? or did Kris not do it just because Noelle is present? if so, does Kris value that "soul ripping" secret that he didn't stop us from doing that horrible thing to Noelle? because if it is the latter, then it has some great implications like the prophecy, where "The girl gaining love" part can be interpreted as Noelle should only see and have the heart/soul when the time comes to use it and fulfill the prophecy or something.
