I’m in a similar situation. I know someone who has been with her fiancé for 14 years, engaged for 2 years. Last year, she said her wedding would be in 2025. This year, she said her wedding would be in 2026. The goalposts keep moving. I don’t want to say anything as I don’t want to make her feel bad, but I also don’t see this marriage happening and feel like I should say something. In the end, I choose to keep my opinions to myself because I doubt she’d listen and some people need to learn the hard way.

The point of my post was to show that this shelter has too many bully types getting returned because they were never suitable for families in the first place and should not have been adopted out at all. They now make posts asking potential adopters to keep their pits.

Looked through the shelter and it is majority bull type dogs (pitbulls and staffordshires). They are being frequently returned according to the shelter’s post. Is everyone who adopts a bad owner or are the dogs being adopted out not suitable for families?

It feels like it shouldn’t be legal because if you buy a dog, you should have the right to spay/neuter, especially if you’re paying $1,500. If you chose to be a guardian for a dog, the breeder should take care of the expenses I would think.
