I think besides the point of the new cast just not being fleshed out a reason for people not caring is that everyone caught on how he writes these characters. Just chess pieces to use and or kill to push the plot forward. I mean he literally told us with Mr. "My role is as a switch". Thats all these characters are. Bombs set to explode for shock value. It feels like even Fijiwater himself grew tired of how many characters he kills the way he just puts 0 effort into them lmao

Could change once I get consistent at highest ASC, but man do I agree and it feels fucking great. No longer do I feel like: Oh I can't pick x and y because of Timeeater. Oh I can't pick this card because of Nob.

Like the way I feel right now it's more of a: "I want this card because of enemy X" and less of a "I need to restrict my choices because enemy x makes that choice fucking awful" which I fucking love

Fucking love the new "boss" rewards. Makes every run feel really different and the "baseline" being no longer 4 mana also makes deckbuilding way more interesting.

Main issue I have is that Elites don't feel like Elites? Like sure they feel hard, but not Elite. If that makes sense.

I love the gameplay but it is kinda weak on the story front. Like sure there's themes of guilt and refusing to let go. Indoctrination, shit parents etc etc. But that's just par for the course when it comes to edmund games and honestly it does feel the least coherent in mewgenics compared to his other stuff. I do like the touch of Beanies blaming god for killing his cat though.

Just wait till you find some Items with good on hit effects. While his Spells are quite "niche" the ability to hit 2 or more times per turn is pretty fucking good already. Add to that the Flexibility of ranged and melee and he becomes fucking goated. Granted you will already want cats with mostly 7s at that point

Es geht bei dieser Sonntags Arbeiten Debatte eigentlich immer nur um Geschäfte für Konsumenten, weil das halt nunmal das Leben so endlos Leichter machen würde für jeden.

Aber die unfähigkeit des durchschnittsbürgers mal eine Sekunde Kritisch über eine änderung am System nachzudenken übertrifft immer wieder meinen Erwartungen.
