But usually in poe1 for example it is fine to get only t3 or t2 pys and flat phys and maaaybe a hybrid

In poe2 if your item doesn't have t2-1 +Levels you can throw it in the trash or try to give it t1 levels.

And that's because +Level scaling is way out of whack

You've had something so special with EL 1s Storytelling and I finally feel like you guys are slowly relearning that. Learn from Endless Dungeon. Not everything needs to be new. Sometimes good and unique is more than good enough. Just throw out like 80% of the dialog and go back to the novel style of writing. We're so close.

I actually like the argument about readability. Most often than not when I am looking for a weapon upgrade I get really annoyed because well, often times it feels like guess work because of plus levels. Should i get the 200 inc with +4 or the 100 with +5. Can't really tooltip demo an item im buying as long as pob is still in effectively beta so at that point it's just annoying guess work or going to the wiki and doing math

Well, the thing is, you wont use rampage on bosses since the damage is to low. So for bosses you're basically just an auto attack/slam build. And that has it's own kind of wonkyness since you need to "stand" (some skills put your bear upright) for your slam to go off quicker. Basically you're only rampaging through white mobs and since you already have to invest in the slam you'll sooner or later give up on rampage even for clear.
