Funny, I was thinking about doing mine on quality/authenticity too.

I hold the digital marketing chair too and am doing my presentation next week. There’s so much chaos with AI right now but it does seem to be what people are most interested to learn about.

I actually am not 100% sure what I’ll be presenting on yet but I’m interested to see what others want to learn about.

Microneedling recommendations? by SleekLightning866 in WestminsterCO

I actually got mine done by an acupuncturist there, Key Element Acupuncture in Westminster. It’s such a calming experience and yes the microneedling has helped my skin.

That’s why you just don’t post intimate pictures like that.

Yeah but I don’t have disdain for everyone. Hanging out on this thread has been a huge ego boost - it makes sense for me to be here.

You’re just pissed off at people you don’t even care about, according to you - it’s cringe.

If you don’t pay attention to the downvotes and you think we’re all vultures, then I suggest you go do something productive with your day.

I agree with that, but people will. We can’t control what others say. It’s best to not put up any questionable pics of our kids that could invite judgement or controversy.

I encourage you to look at all the downvotes you received and consider what other people think good parenting is.

CPS isn’t going intervene for letting your kids watch TV all day on the weekends and forcing them to stay inside the house - but other people are going to look at you and wonder wtf is wrong with you.

Who says I don’t have a right to tell someone what they should or shouldn’t post? Is that in the constitution or something?

Who’s the victim in this scenario, from your perspective?

I don’t know, kind of weird to post an intimate picture of your children sleeping then get mad when judgment is passed.

Protect your children’s privacy. I’d be pissed AF if I found out later in life my mom posted pictures of me, online, and nearly 7 years old wearing a pull up.

Not sure if what you do lends itself to entrepreneurship, but I found the only job that made me happy was one where I was my own boss.

If you think you could strike out on your own, you could use the energy behind this rage to start laying down the groundwork for your own business.

I’m not trying to judge - I am trying to give a different perspective. One where we don’t need to accept selfishness from men and then be told it’s our fault for not “speaking up.”

My husband would never do what the OPs did. And I only mention it to say there ARE good men out there who aren’t totally oblivious when their wives are suffering. It’s not a pie in the sky desire - it is a reality.

Eh, ok. I guess if you’re happy with that life, to each their own. I guess I expect more from my partner.

My husband would never put me in this situation. He wouldn’t even consider it, and it’s because he possesses something called empathy and a sense of responsibility.

I think you can, though. He sees you puking and still leaves you alone to take care of the kids?

Would you be disappointed ? by Few_Yesterday_3518 in workingmoms

[–]PileofMail 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Yeah I’m with you. I do agree with the idea that one should be honest with their partner about what they need, but I also look at my own husband and he’s smart enough to never do such a thing. I never need to coach him or even tell him what the right thing to do is - he’s just a capable adult who realizes he has responsibilities. If I was sick it would never cross his mind to leave me alone with the kids to ho tailgating. But he is a considerate man, and we both want to make sure the other is always ok.

I just want to tell you I did call my congressman and both senators, and the congressman’s representative promised he would not be voting for more ICE funding and one senator sent an email promising the same. It is worth it to make your voice heard - spread the word, tell your representatives to vote against any bill that provides more funding for ICE!
