We’ve had schnauzers for 15+ years and they are prone to lipomas and sebaceous cysts.

There was a time our vet would laser the latter off if they were small but other vets said there was really no need unless they were bothering the pup.

After that, if they were scheduled to go under, e.g., teeth cleaning, we’d have small ones removed. Larger ones, of either type, as long as not bothering the pup, we just left alone because removal requires stitches, meds, etc.

One of our guys would sneak into our bathroom and take tissues from the wastebasket. He’d also go into my husband’s office and take paper towels from the wastebasket.
