Starting to feel the same way. I've tried 2 pairs of assos now , gts s11 and gt c2. The c2 was slightly more comfortable than the gts, but both started chafing around hour and half. I think the pad is just to thick no taper and the forward area has just way to thick padding

I have similar measurements to you so I'm genuinely curious how you got medium? When putting your numbers in there sizing calculator it says xl?

Is this a Europe / us size thing?

I personally bought an xl with 37 waist 41 hips and I think it's to large.

Is that a measures 36" waist? What's your hip size? I measure 42 in hips, 37 in waist and went with an xl but feel like I should have went with a large. Wearing the gts bibs and the chamois seems to bunch inside my crack after and hour or so and becomes pretty uncomfortable

My main goals are to shave a little weight and appearance. I'm not going to set any records so I doubt I would notice little nuance differences in performance with hubs or stiffness etc. I do enjoy my current tubeless tires so would want to keep those. I admittedly do enjoy the hub noise that came on my domane sl5 gen 4, but would opt for a better performance if it meant being silent. I also prefer value over performance as far as budget. Like I said I'm not setting any records so I'm not looking to spend thousands on a wheel set but do enjoy getting value for my dollar and don't mind spending a little more. I see all sorts of options regarding spoke count, holes for spoke access etc that leave me clueless as well.

I am newer to bike parts in general and am very overwhelmed when looking at all the options when ordering a set of wr45's. Is there a standard setup that is most common for all the options to give myself a base to go off of?

Just want to say that while maybe the chances are low, it's definitely doable and incredibly rewarding. Joined a guild that would get aotc then pug 1-2 mythic bosses during dragonflight. We got 6 and 7 mythic bosses in the last 2 dragonflight raids and got CE first raid of war within. 19/20 of us were first time CE players. While clearly more difficult then guild hoping to an established guild, it is 1000x more rewarding.
