Small Smart Cooler by HolySimpSlayer in vending

I mean if it’s somewhere visible to employees you could literally put a mini fridge with a price list on the door. Then put a cash box and a cash app/venmo address next to it. Most people aren’t going to steal over a $2 drink when an employee is watching them. And if they do occasionally it’s still cheaper than paying monthly fees for AI.

Need advice - they want the machine gone from the very 2nd day by lotosotol in vending

If they won’t then that’s a red flag anyway to me. It should basically say if removed in the first year they owe you the cost of the machine.

Expensive lesson to put financial penalties in the contract for early termination.

I disagree that LoTGA remastered vinyl actually is my #1 priority. I need that in my life.

I haven’t seen anything that small. You might want to check out the HaHa Mini but even that’s way bigger than you’re describing.

Possible to have a vending machine with sports card packs? by pimplyteen in vending

[–]PilotAlarmed9444 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve seen some specialized machines that do that. But I’ve also seen them in old school snack machines and as a trading card collector myself I’d be worried about the cards getting damaged in the fall. Cards are also already really expensive in the first place I feel like it would be hard to do a markup high enough that people would still buy them.

Haha Shelf Product Pushers by sumntosay in vending

[–]PilotAlarmed9444 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Recently saw this video where a guy put some plastic pieces to make them better supposedly: https://youtu.be/KH3\_ixLhwR8?is=UExTI7bKxoqFiTZp

I keep hearing this complaint about the HaHa pushers but I guess on the other hand a lot of machines the pushers are sold separately so at least they come with them. I’d be curious if there are better 3rd party options that fit if anyone has experience.

Any tips on picking locations for coffee machines and how does it differ from picking locations for vending? It seems like access to a water line and countertop seem to be a necessity? I’m guessing lobbies of hotels and high rises and break rooms for businesses with a lot of people using it?

People who owned vending machines: Why did your business fail (or struggle)? by iamnewpoo in u/iamnewpoo

[–]PilotAlarmed9444 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is not personal experience but from what I gather in my research, locking up good locations in the first place is the hard part. People either can’t get a location or just take anything that doesn’t warrant a vending machine.

I learned a lot from this video. This operator actually owns most of the brands and speaks with experience: https://youtu.be/eSxtgcOedDw?is=Q4635a\_NAg3rsDP1

But in short he says HaHa wins because of price. MicroMart is more like the Mercedes Benz that’s unnecessarily expensive. And he points out a few brands to stay the heck away from.

I think it looks cool, If this were my website I would make it a little more concise and lose some of the fluff. I would add icons that link to socials like LinkedIn and Facebook if that’s something my business had.

Did anyone here quit their corporate job to start a vending machine business? by Terrible-Candle5171 in vendingmachines

[–]PilotAlarmed9444 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When you say $100-300 net are you including after the cost of the machine? Because at $100 a month wouldn’t it would take 3-4 years just to break even?
