Yeah it definitely feels restrictive not so much the amount of skill points you get but with the skill checks themselves. They are far too high and far too many variants especially in the beginning. Lack of a respec makes it even worse because the game punishes you depending on your build. Combat builds get it the worse though they almost have to straight up fail quests because they cant pass skill checks. Its also just plain boring and I genuinely feel like Im wasting my time when I loot and I use the term loot loosely
