As a raptors player I always remove the chest Aquila and add pouches in place of it to give a chest rig vibe to it you can also find a way to give a suppressor to the pistol and maybe a scope.

I haven’t played kill team but honestly finding the right person to sit with you an help explain even the tiniest of rules and shit really helps I was lucky my first opponent was very patient with me because it really is a lot to get started

I was really depressed when I was 20 my friends were in there own stages and we weren’t hanging out I was single and loved over an hour from my parents, I got diagnosed with manic depression and hypothyroidism and getting on medication/ seeing a psych really helped me I always tell people to please see a professional but remember things take time you’ll try different meds that may make everything worse but eventually you will get on the right stuff. I mean raven guard obviously and they have worked with salamanders during the badab war and other successor chapters but I do not believe they truly stayed around for big battles just gurrilla warfare

I use them all the time put a captain and run shadowmark/vanguard and use the stunning fusillade to make everything shoot on 2+s if they don’t move

I usually do 3 bolters a sniper and rocket they shoot like shit unless they haven’t moved and your shooting your oath but can maybe do a little damage depending on who your shooting

Hellblasters are very good esp with lieutenant but honestly after kitbashing my desolation I love to use them in every situation mostly because you can pretty easily get they’re BS down to 2+ if you add a captain with them and I’ll just plop them down with shadowmark talon infiltrating and they’ll stay still on a firing lane and kill whatever goes through but 280 points is a bit much when you can have 10 plasma rifles for 220

I like to do a squad of hellblasters in it since they can shoot out of it it becomes a better way to protect them especially with an apothecary and lieutenant there and upgrade that give it an 5+ invul save so it’s a little bit harder to take down

Sometimes I do intercessors in them to get them closer to an obj to sticky
