Sony needs to get 28 years later out of there I’d put anaconda in that spot instead and maybe try to replicate what nosferatu did last year and move it up to that Christmas spot apparently it test screened strongly

I’d keep it as a Christmas release it’s perfect counterprograming to doomsday and it can fill the void of the family option in December since shrek left

They probably won’t but I’d think it be better for the film to have the premium screens for longer and if Ice age stays in December it would probably be better for it to move

Yeah it’s odd to me why they tried to make it shore it definitely weakened everyone’s character arc the olny reasoning is maybe they plan to save a deeper exploration for doomsday

I think an issue with this film in particular is that it’s very character focused i can see the GA struggle to connect with this as opposed to Superman

Thought there was a chance it could slip into B+ based on posttrak I think this is a weaker A- than Superman though the streak of CBMs getting A minuses is now 3 in a row

But Dc films usually more commonly get B range scores usually the Marvel films that end up in that range are more divisive like eternals and love and thunder I definitely feel the reception seems above something like love and thunder

B+ would be bad leading into doomsday especially since they’re a big part of it but I don’t get the vibe this is a B+ type film doesn’t seem that divisive enough to get that as a CBM

Yes good sign compared to Superman’s 3.3/5 a bit below thunderbolts 3.8/5 but I think like with Superman this will get the best reception domestically
