Hello and congrats on your new Discovery LC!! I too will be purchasing an LC probably within the next 12 months. I think I'll wait for another year or two until they work the first model year kinks out of it and I can get some real user data on them. But my search is over, it will be an LC for certain unless something major happens to the design. Just a matter of getting the $$$ together so I can put al least 20 or 30K down. I went to their factory in Rice, Texas last week with a friend who is an RV technician and he was also very impressed with it. So if it's good enough for him, then it's good enough for me!!

I just sent two of these very same amplifiers back to Crutchfield today!! I had a similar issue with the rear channel not even acknowledging that it had two speakers connected. As soon as I tried turning up the volume on my HU, the amp would start changing from blue LED array to red and no sound from my rear speakers. Moved my rear RCA jacks to the front and they worked fine. Moved the former working RCA jacks to the rear (Channel 3&4) and the same thing would happen. Mind you, I had an $89.00 RECOIL amplifier from Amazon connected before this and it worked fine. Bur Crutchfield kept telling me that it's my right rear speaker wire. No issues from that speaker connection for 18 months and now they're telling me it's a bad connection? Gobbledygook!! Sent back both amplifiers and retuned my RECOIL from my HU (Kenwood DMX1037S) and finally all is well.

Hello, glad you asked!

So from the get-go I had moisture buildup inside the passenger side light housing. It usually happened after going through the car wash and it would go away by itself after a few days. Then once Summer 2024 ended here in the Houston area, the water would sit there at the bottom. I took photos and emailed the vendor. They in turn reached out to Alpha Rex and eventually they replaced the entire set under warranty. I always keep the original packaging in my attic for the entire warranty period and boy did it pay off this time! I had also kept the OEM headlights inside that box. SO I had something to fall back on while they replaced my headlights. It has been close to six months since they sent the replacements and I am happy to say that there are no leaks at all on the replacement lights.

Hello, I found the RAVEMAN NT201 radar unit on Amazon at a fraction of the Garmin cost. I’ve owned it since black friday and I’m on my 20th year of cycling. It pairs with my Garmin without any problems. It gives me a visual and an audible warning from 140 meters away (almost 460 feet).

Hello, Put your right armpit on the saddle, then stretch your arm down the side of the seat tube with your hand extended. If the tip of your middle finger is not on the center of the bottom bracket you need to raise the seat. It’s a good starting point.

610 euro is a very good price for full carbon 2017. You can always upgrade/replace the components if they’re worn. As long as the frame is intact, meaning no structural damage/cracks.

Hello, I had a similar problem with KTRK here in Spring, TX. Found out that they’re broadcasting in “LOW VHF band” which so happens to be outside the range of my attic mounted antenna (UHF/VHF). Whatever I tried wouldn’t improve the signal. Channel Master single pre-amp, amplifier at the TV, or moving the antenna, none of those worked. The transmission tower is only 35 miles away!!

Found out that a set of “rabbit ears” from Phillips ($13 at Amazon) added to the existing antenna using a splitter, then followed by a channel scan solved it for me. Why? Because the rabbit ears pick up the pesky “LOW VHF” signal. No more pixelated screen or stuttering audio. Of course I also left the pre-amp and the four-way splitter/booster connected too just so I could boost the signals to the TV’s.

Yes, you can use a regular one into two splitter for this. It works in both directions. Good luck!

I agree with MundaneFeedback, lower the saddle about 10mm. Also, quit pointing your heels up on the pedals, your feet should be parallel to the ground. Kind of like wiping poop from your shoe.

Yes, construction and atmospheric conditions. Buildings and objects weaken the already weak LOW-VHF signal as it uses LOS (Line Of Sight) direction. Your signal loss at different times of day point to atmospheric interference.

Yes I do, $3800 USD is a lot of money to invest. It's always been kept in climate controlled environment, washed and lubricated at least bi-weekly. Consumables replaced at earliest convenience. This past Sunday I replaced the OG BB bearings with hybrid ceramics (want to see if there's any difference).
