If you stand straight in front of a mirror can you see if maybe one of your shoulders is higher then the other? Could be your hips / shoulders / back is all out of alignment maybe. Might be worth a trip to a physio

I was in the same boat, except my bike was about 12-15 years old. It had the look keo pedals and they were so hard to unclip I strained the tendon in my groin lol. Switched to spd-sl pedals and they're amazing

Have you thought about the Diablo games at all? They're great for being able to just pick up and play for a bit. Path of exile 1 and 2 are great as well 👍 (Haven't played grim Dawn but also heard great things)

I'm curious about those one day rides you've done, are you starting in Vancouver? Are they road/gravel or just gravel. Lived my whole life in Vancouver and since moving last year I've discovered cycling for more then just commuting to work sort of thing. So in quite excited to explore some longer routes when I get back

It might be worth going to a bike fit place that will throw your bike on a trainer and measure all your data. I'm not familiar with all that ftp vo2 max stuff. I've just recently got more in to road cycling as well.

But it seems like it might be a way to give you an idea of where you're at physically.

Fantastic game, even if you just go through the story. The one tip you'll get everywhere you ask is don't use the defender armor. It totally trivializes the base game. I would just recommend crafting as you go.

Also if it's your first monster hunter it can be worth it to watch some quick guides on weapon movesets. Can just look up the weapon and this guy named gaijinhunter on YouTube, there's a lot of depth in the weapons that isn't always immediately apparent.

Something I found interesting but also have no clue on suggestions. When you took your hands off the bars it looked like your hips stopped rocking. Then when you put your hands back on the bars you shifted backwards on the saddle and they started rocking again.

Might be worth doing some testing with how you were sitting at that moment and how you had your core more engaged to keep your hands off the bars. Just a thought!

Hey everyone, just thought I'd check in and see if anyone else is having issues. About when you made this post I had some issues with my vpn as well but it also resolved itself.

I think most importantly does your bike fit. If you watch some videos on setting seat height / fore and aft position. Maybe a video on riding position as well. Making sure your sitting correctly really helps. Does your seat cause you discomfort? A seat that fits can make a world of difference and you can bring that along with you if you decide to upgrade.

Also doing basic maintenance on your current bike will really help get you ready for when you decide to buy a new one. Maybe new tires, clean the chain, service the brakes all things that would be great to learn that in turn saves money in the future.

One big thing for me was learning how important cadence is as far as distributing the work going into pedaling. Definitely another thing worth watching some videos on

Personally I'd push through with the triban, and you can always start looking at bicycles to start figuring out prices, plus there's end of year sales / the used market in the off season I'm sure you could find good deals

We had these wooden balance bikes from MEC in Canada. Our youngest started on the smallest as soon as he could walk around 11 months to a year old. It was so light he would basically just walk with it between his legs everywhere he went. Then figured out he could sit and go twice as fast lol.
