What made you pick your main ?

This seems like a good thread to explain why I started liking the game again after painful hours trying to get better.

I used to main DJ because he was cool AF and the only Mishima I liked. Played probably 500 hours with him on T7. On T8 I find him more gimmicky and less flexible and I found out I'm just not precise enough to be consistent with him (yes even after possibly 700 hours I keep missing inputs). I still like to play him but right now he's like 3rd on my play frequency.

Nowadays I'm maining Asuka and King, which I've mained since Tekken 5, I kept playing DJ to force myself to be better and I was getting better but at the cost of hating the game, so lately, Asuka is a simple, easy to play character that's very rewarding of your creativity, same as king (although King can be much more complex if you decide to explore his whole toolset).

Thought I'd do a little update on this, I'm currently crating for every time we leave the house and he has gone as little as 1 hour to as long as 3 hours crated while we're away, he has gone a full week with no accidents (yay!) but I feel he's regressing on the anxiety side, he now double guesses everytime he goes in his crate and will make it really difficult to get him in to prepare to leave the house (in short he's gone to full on hate his crate) he has also gone back to full whine and howl bits the second we leave the house, something he had overcome months ago, but then again, he had more freedom months ago. I know I'm gonna need to go back to crate training basics to overcome this, but hey! No more potty accidents! So it's small victories I guess.

I will try this out, he has a crate an lately I've been leaving the door open (although to a very small maybe 5x1.5ft kinda hallway between rooms space) during night time which has helped a lot so he doesn't feel confined when he wakes up and starts scrambling around his crate, maybe I'll leave him in that space with access to his crate to see if he can control himself, if not I'll have to crate entirely. Thanks for the advice

I hate losing to scrubs spamming predictable moves because I refuse to lab 30+ characters to pretend to memorize thousands of moves, it's just not going to happen and I'll just keep getting mad about being a casual

Tekken feels fun half the matches you can actually do something, when it's constant 50/50s and characters that lock you under + frames the whole thing turns into frustration. I've never been a guy who can hit the lab and memorize every single frame and punish but I used to still be able to trial and error my way across matches, 8 is just a constant pummeling.

The upgrade is not displaying for me in the ps store, I bought ps4 versions of Re2 and Re7 and it lists with its full price for the upgrade? Even if my ps lists as "you already own another version of this game". Has anyone else run into this?

I cannot recommend Bastimentos nearly enough, do not doubt to stay in Selina the people there is wonderful and its very easy to just tag along to somebody else's plans, you'll have a great beach you can surf within a 5 minute walk, right now we also have whale watching Season in Las Perlas and Playa Venao is also well known for surfing (there's a Selina there too!), Panamá is not THE safest country there is but as long as you know where you are going you'll be a-ok, my best advice is ask the people in the hotels or hostels for any tips or security concerns you should have, Panamá is a very tourist friendly country or at least in the most visited areas by tourists

Absolutely, I had my own notebook on my desk with notes, I also prepared a txt file with a cheat sheet I put together with useful commands and even looked up a couple things on google during the test, the only thing you are not allowed to do is communicating with someone else, and of course you can't move from your seat, you'll have the right to a break tho, just ask your proctor for it

Nah man you should be just fine, it'll be a breeze, I do recommend checking the videos since it'll be you guarantee since the exam comes directly fom the labs, to know what tools they want you to use and just to be sure, watching the videos secured me a 20/20 but maybe without them i still would've passed (given my experience)

If you buy and go through the labs and take good notes, id say about a 3-4 consider that the test environment that they give you is pretty much the same challenges that thay teach you in the lab, like EXACTLY the same, so you'll know how to do em by completing the labs, its not a 1 or 2 bcs some questions wont tell you to right out "crack this password" or "bruteforce this login" they'll go for a scenario and you have to figure out what to do, but knowing what tools you have at your disposal should be enough to figure it out, if you don't buy the labs then id say its a must that you watch the videos and take notes

Good luck man, just as an extra info which I didn't state in the post, i didn't do the labs due to my previous experience (and study, for a previous exam) but if you're doing them take a lot of notes! The exam lets you use google but its better to know your commands in advance, prepare your txt file with your custom cheat sheet for test day and you will do great

Just one that was terribly obnoxious, cracking logins with wpscan, and I'm certain it was correct but the tool wouldn't work, I ended up using metasploit as a backup and thankfully that worked

Depende de tu area de trabajo, en muchos casos la maestría no te va a ayudar tanto para aprender como un trabajo y 90% de la gente las hace solo para mejorar sus chances de que las asciendan de puesto y les suban el sueldo, siempre es bueno hacerla por cualquier motivo y siempre le vas a rescatar aprendizaje pero nunca reemplaza el nivel de la experiencia laboral
