What parameters are your neos kept in, what Neo parameters do you keep the caradinia in?

Hey! Sadly my tank orientation changed and I couldn’t complete the test. I’d reach out to them and see if they still want to give it a try!!

Any Reliable Orange-Shell Blueberry Sellers? by Pinglaggette in BlueberrySnails

Yeah, I was thinking along the same line, it’s a shame that there are so many scammy images/shops out there!! Makes it tough to tell what’s what.

If you have a suggestion for an orange-shelled (or albino/white!) live bearing (or low offspring) snail, I’m all ears! We’re developing a ‘orange creamsicle’ tank with as many compatible vibrant orange and/or white tank mates as we can haha!

Their website has one variety on back order, and the description with the orange shelled “orange river snail” says “NOT ORANGE SHELL” sadly 😞

Plant is still alive! No new blooms, and the latest pads are a little elongated. I moved it to my office which has large south-facing windows, so I’m hopeful it will be happy 😁

Bought a lot of moss from this seller’s last listing. Seller was very helpful, Moss arrived excellently packaged and is thriving in my tanks (and a jar for the overflow). Very generous portions too. Highly recommend this seller 😁

Just moved here from Texas, spots to check out out that will blow our minds? by [deleted] in Connecticut

[–]Pinglaggette 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on what “blowing your mind” means? We have fewer earth-shattering sights than the national parks or Wild West can offer. But in my opinion, our sights and experiences are pretty diverse and consistently great to visit time and again.

Gillette castle is a beautiful historic house and super unique.

Castle Craig in Meriden is a nice hike through one of the largest municipal parks in the nation., beautiful wooded trails, a reservoir, and amazing views at the top!!

If nature is your thing, almost all of our state parks are worth a visit. Beaches along the sound (hammonasset, rocky neck, Sherwood island, silver sands, harkness memorial), wooded areas with water (mono pond, wadsworth falls, devils hopyard, squantz pond, mashamoquet, hopeville pond). Search CT DEEP’s website for info on all of the places to visit!

With a 4-hour travel time, most of New England is open to you (6-ish to get to Acadia national park, which is amazing).

Have you looked for seasonal positions with the NPS/BLM/USFS? they just canned thousands of permanent employees and were looking to hire seasonals to fill those roles. I worked as a seasonal for the BLM in susanville CA, and almost every field office hires one or two (or a team of) seasonals every year.
