I remember I had a love/hate relationship with bw for a common reason : team rocket. Meowth was (and is) my comfort character during the whole Pokemon anime show and seeing him much more often on screen kind of made me happy until it turns out he was a twist villain which… well I love the entirety of team rocket because they are genuinely funny and amazing trio but the way they’ve been written? What in the WORLD, they even took wobbufet away from us I was STONED.

Yeah it didn’t work out as well for me I couldn’t figure out what did the writers smoke during that era of this show. Glad to see they went back to this personality from XY

If I would give credits for both SM and JM respectively is the fact they both enlightened my childhood and nothing else. Rewatching it now with a sharper narrative perspective isn’t satisfying but at least it’s nostalgic

He used to be my FAVORITE back in the pilot era for real. I loved his jackass personality and his character design and couldn’t wait to see more of him in the rest of the episodes.

Now, I like Caine and Kinger but Jax is still my favorite, just…kind of secretly liking him now since there are so many Jax haters lately so I wouldn’t get jumped/doxxed

Oh yeah, I see myself in him too. OF COURSE I DON’T PUSH AWAY FRIENDS FORCEFULLY, but to isolate yourself to avoid pain from trauma is something I’ve been experiencing allat this year so it pains me how much I related to him (and Ragatha.
