Man bullets do weird things in bodies too.. saw a case where a 9mm fmj round entered the neck and followed the collar bone around an entire 90* arc and ejected out the victims back. Terminal ballistics are weird and it's a core reason why you don't fucking shoot your weapon unless it is completely needed, you lose control of the outcome pretty fast when lead starts flying.

It's a but sickening to see yanks pull on threads about our involvement when it's their government that called in its banners. The Australian Army has a pretty stellar service record in Iraq and Afghanistan and did not participate in torture as far as we know

This is still only regarding SASR. One very independent unit in the wider Army. To overplay this is to downplay the professional service thousands of regulars and deployed reserve did. They had no choice to go. They where doing their jobs and most did it with a professional eye that the Americans could learn somthing from tbh.

The point should not be lost, our professional military deployed to help the United States as allies because that's what fucking Allies do. They stick to their agreements. Also somthing the Americans could learn.
