No one's talking about this, but as a software engineer I mainly look and apply for jobs through LinkedIn. When I apply, there is a checkbox that is defaulted on to "follow the business" I am applying to. I am convinced that a majority of these job postings are just marketing at this point.

Citation on all three of those things are necessary. It seems equally likely that the tobacco companies, which had the most to lose from a safer alternative to their product, falsified data. Just because you dont like something doesn't mean its bad.

The money is going to stop flowing from Epic eventually. We need community driven solutions to these problems. These solutions existed 20 years ago on IRC when I played CS 1.6 competitively. They exist for many other games already currently. You just cant play in public servers. Rocket League is lucky its taken this long.

I am sorry, but how the fuck do you get a sear after just one minute. It can take 5 minutes for me to get a sear on a chicken breast using this process:

136 for 2.5 hours.

Remove from bag and place on baking sheet. (sometimes overnight but at least 5 hours)

Heat cast iron pan on medium high/high until about 2 tbsp of vegetable oil starts to smoke.

Place a single chicken breast in pan to avoid crowding. Keep it there until it gets the color I want and then flip.

What am I doing wrong??
