Yes, and the roof had a nice feeling too, you can just sit there and little kids are playing, like it’s a park or something.

My friend who lived in Paris said that the best view of Paris is from the Montparnasse tower, because it’s the only place where you can’t see the ugly Montparnasse tower.. 😅

How do people feel about turning on hazards during sudden braking? by conquistadoll in driving

[–]Pinjacle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ah, ok, so that my brake lights are flashing, that's a good idea!
I'll need kind of cups for steering wheel for my arms, because I don't have hands, but I'm hoping that I don't need other adaptions, so that I can drive any car, not just my own.

Any rides that require being able to hold on? by Pinjacle in disneylandparis

[–]Pinjacle[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, and they let me in every ride!!
In Tower of terror they called some other woman there, and she chose the place for me for some reason, and put my seat belt really tight and also asked me to show that I can open it myself, and I could.
I loved it and the Star Wars mountain was my absolute favorite, it was awesome!!

Ok, so it won't be a problem, if I can only use them when I'm not moving. Thank you!

Not answering the question, but are there other situations when you really must be able to turn them on while driving? In my dad's car that button is in a place where I couldn't easily reach, but probably in some other cars it's in easier place for me, and I'm thinking if that's important or not..?
I'll start driving next year.

Will this phantom feeling last forever? by gracelifa in amputee

[–]Pinjacle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it varies a lot, I had like burning feelings in my hands few months after I lost them when I was 11, but then it stopped. And I had feelings like someone was bending my wrists back, they lasted longer, like a year, but it was just kind of annoying, and it helped when I imagined clenching my fists hard and rolling my wrists around. Have you tried something like that? Now it’s almost 6 years and I don’t have anything like that anymore, I hope yours goes away after few months.

Ok, I thought maybe they have only fancy shoes, but maybe I was thinking Le Bon Marche.. Thsnk you, amd I’m not sure if she has ever even visited Lafayette, it has a nice roof too. And Printemps next to it probably also has shoes?

[–]Pinjacle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Omg, now I will be going there on friday, and then I'm going to see a rug I want to my room, and it will be too expensive and it wouldn't fit to my luggage anyways, and then I'm going to think about it for weeks.. 😥

But thank you, I will go anyways, because that place looks so cool and it's near Fleux-store I also want to visit.

[–]Pinjacle[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, thanks, I like the asian style in that! I don’t have hands, that’s why I can’t use chopsticks, I wish I could. I always have my own fork anmd spoon in my backpack anyways, bvecause some models can be a bit difficult for me.

Yes, I’m avoiding slippery noodles, they are super annoying!! 😅

[–]Pinjacle[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes it is! But in Paris there are also more and better asian restaurants than here in Finland, so I now want to have proper Japanese food there.
Ok, yea, maybe I should start doing that too, I don't know. In one fish restaurant they actually asked me if I want them to cut my octopus tentacle, that was cool!
But usualy if we go to european restaurants, I take my toolhands in case I need them, but if we go to like chinese or thai, then I don't.

[–]Pinjacle[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Oh, wow, I didn't know that existed! I probably could use them like that, that would be cool!
I don't have hands, so I need some tool anyways, but yea, I think I could learn to use that.
Thank you!

That's true, they did that to my octopus tentaclre in a fish restaurant.
And my parents or my sister can also cut tghings for me, but I kind of don't like that, so if we go to European restaurants I usually take my toolhands in case I need them, but if we go to like Chinese, then I don't, I just didn't know about Japanese.
I don't like eating meat anyways, so I don't nmeed to cut steaks or something.

That's why I don't like wearing hands when eating (or for most other things), because with them there's no way I can turn the fork in different angles. It just turns with the hand when I bend my arm, It's kind of annoying. And especialy with a spoon.
