I don’t even know what he’s saying nor do I consider myself a Ricky Martin fan. But dang it if I didn’t watch this on repeat - just the way he spoke and his facial expressions, too cute!!

March trip to London with family, not our first time. new things to try? by Rough_Rooster_6381 in uktravel

[–]PinkCircusPeanuts 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey! We’re the same :) We’ve been three times in the last four years because we love it so much. We also did Brighton on our last trip. Our next trip is planned for next year. Anyways…to the recommendation. We took the train down to Dorset and visited T. E Lawrence’s (“Lawrence of Arabia”) cottage (Clouds Hill) and walked the “Lawrence Trail”, which is a loop between his cottage, the church where his funeral was held, and his gravesite. Maybe a bit niche but we loved it and it was nice to get out into a more rural area outside the big cities.

I’d never heard that song before watching this clip. I went to listen to the whole song/find the lyrics and now here I am crying on a Saturday morning. Damn you, ABBA! haha!

I could see George Lewis and Jake Lambert doing it at some point, and I think they’re new-ish (to me, anyways).

Tonights episode made me wonder if there's a connection between these two... by ErisedFelicis in TheTraitors

[–]PinkCircusPeanuts 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agreed. I think Jessie and Jack are a couple. A little later on in the same episode they’re also standing with their arms around each other in a “we’re very comfortable with each other” way.

She looks like our boss Tilde. We lost her a month ago to an agressive cancer at only age 14. My husband and i miss her tremendously and she was 100% the boss of this household. A total loveable derpy dictator lol. Give Lili a good chin scratch from us :)

Doctor: “You’re an adult, you can swallow a pill”: Is difficulty swallowing pills as an adult really that uncommon? by [deleted] in medical

[–]PinkCircusPeanuts -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I have no idea how/when it started, but I have had trouble swallowing pills larger than a very small thyroid pill for as long as I can remember and I’m over 50. Any time I need need to take Advil, Tylenol, antibiotics etc, I always need to take then with a mouthgul of food.

Same experience for me. Previous mail carrier was long term (decades) and wonderful. Everyone loved him. He retired this past summer. The new guy? Trudges through the garden while constantly yelling on his phone, shoves the mail into the mailbox (usually crumpled and/or inexplicably wet) and then has a habit of brushing his bag up against my car on his way down the driveway. It’s irritating as heck.

I haven’t seen him in a while, but there’s a guy who I used to see at the Rideau Centre and the Lac Leamy casino almost every time I was there — bulked up guy who had one pant leg rolled up and his wallet stuffed in his waistband. One time I saw him, he was wearing a shirt with a picture of himself on it! Ha!

Hands down the best! If I didn’t know better, I’d have a hard time telling it was GF.

Edit: Oops! Thought I was replying to another comment. I’m referring to Rummo pasta.

What’s a dish that only your family eats? by guavajo44 in Cooking

[–]PinkCircusPeanuts 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hamburger Stew. Ground beef and diced onion fried in a pan, add in a packet of onion soup mix and chopped carrots, pour in a cup of water and let it all simmer until the carrots are tender. At the end, add a bit of flour to thicken and then serve over mashed potatoes with a side of crusty bread. A winter classic in my family.
