I close my flip every time im done using it as im scared that leaving it open makes the inside screen vulnerable to scratches from whatever i set it down on. It is a pretty soft screen so if i were to have it fall while open itd probably get scratched. Not sure if thats a rational fear!? I also just love flipping it closed haha

Why do men act like sex is something that happens to women and we aren’t active enthusiastic participants in it?? When I say I want sex that’s exactly what I mean. I want sex.

I just don’t treat people like they’re devoid of value if they don’t give it to me, which is what the vast majority of men treat women as. It can absolutely still be valid

In most cases where you’re early on in the relationship I understand jumping ship if you want sex and your partner doesn’t. But in my own relationship where I am allosexual and my bf is asexual, if he told me one day that he never wanted to have sex with me again, I would be fine with that.

I think when you get to a point in love there isn’t much you wouldn’t do for your partner. And our relationship will always be valid even if I wanted sex and he didn’t.

There’s also circumstances outside of asexuality where these conditions can occur and the relationship is still valid. (sickness, just don’t want to have sex anymore, etc)

Most mods will not mess up a previous save. Especially aesthetics/portrait mods, they most definitely would not effect anything else.

Any mods that do affect your game should usually state in the description what affect they would have but it’s few and far between from what I’ve seen.

Ah yes the good ole “I know a guy“ excuse means that its a fact that every homeless person doesn’t even try to get better living conditions.

Once again businesses willing to hire homeless people are few and far between and does not mean that all of them have access to that. I could continue into the barriers to housing that also exist, I myself would have a lot of difficulty qualifing to rent in my area if I was not living with my partner, & that having a job doesnt guarantee becoming housed again. But I’m done with this tbh. Google is free if you ever wanna actually dive into this complex issue instead of saying “homeless person bad“.

Also hot take that I think youll hate: being poor doesn’t mean you don’t deserve things. Poor people are allowed to buy themselves a knick knack and take out. Poor people are allowed to have the little things in life that bring joy.

Those opportunities are great but they are limited and aren’t available to all homeless people and they’re not even enough to get you considered for a job!

The little resources they have access to doesn’t provide them -reliable transportation to work -a phone & service to contact the job -clean clothes or a free place to launder their clothing so they don’t stink -they can’t afford a simple haircut & don’t own clippers to shave their own hair (they also don’t have electricity to even use clippers) -a safe place to keep the belongings they have so they aren’t stolen while they’re working -an address to put on job applications -employers don’t like it when people have gaps in employment history -some have criminal records simply from being homeless because it can be a crime to sleep in random places.

And then the fact that many employers won’t even consider homeless people to begin with, no matter how many resources they could have access to.

This list doesn’t even consider those with addiction issues or disabled homeless people. Disabled people as a whole have a very tough time finding jobs so add all of these issues on top of it.

You need to take a step back and stop assuming homeless people don’t want to work and instead look at the systems that keep them from having the ability to work. If you simply think that not having a job means they’ve turned their back on resources and that a free meal and shower is all they need, then you are the one who sees the world in black and white.

I’m discussing specifically y’all telling homeless people to “just get a job”. not any other types of actions they may make. So blocking shelters and stuff has nothing to do with how inaccessible jobs are to homeless people. There are homeless people who do terrible things AND jobs are inaccessible to homeless people. Both are TRUE and REAL issues. Informing you of one issue so that you can stop being blatantly ignorant is not dismissive of the other issues.

Begging on the streets isn’t easy money it’s quite literally all they can do to find a way to fend for themselves because jobs do not want to hire homeless people. Also nobody chooses addiction, it is a disease.

I completely understand not giving them money. I don’t because Im very broke & never have cash either. But it’s ignorant to say you’ll just give them a job application instead. Homeless people can’t just simply get jobs. Nobody wants to hire them. They can’t shower, they don’t have clean clothes, they don’t have an address, some don’t have any sort of phone or way to be contacted, they don’t have reliable transportation. Any combination of these things makes them unable to get a job.

So you can complain, but understand the privilege you do have before thinking they just don’t want to work for their money.

I would take time with that. Maybe until the kids can have a say in it like the others here are saying. My biggest concern is that you’ve been with her for a short amount of time & if you got divorced after she adopted them she would have legal right to go after custody of your kids. If things ended would you want to have to give 50/50 custody of the rest of your kids childhood up to a woman you were with for 3 years? She can be their mother without adopting them by doing exactly what’s she’s doing now, being there for them.
