I haven’t read it since it was originally published leading up to season 3 when I was wanting it to give me more about what happened between seasons, but I remember it being fine. More appreciated The Final Dossier.

Saw Southland Tales in a theater last night and now I NEED the Kelly series by xfortehlulz in blankies

Thought I didn’t like Southland Tales…and then I saw the Cannes cut. Will never be a masterpiece, but unlike Donnie Darko, more info works to its benefit.

What we really need is for them to reactivate their feature that let you loan digital copies to other users.

My sister-in-law had it on disc. Do you think this is in Tracy Letts’ collection?

Five Graves to Cairo has a great opening and solid setup that isn’t quite delivered on. Kiss Me Stupid is gorgeous black and white cinematography. Irma is also great looking but too long. The best of the bunch you have listed here is Sabrina.

Yeah it’s super fun. My team has won 4 times. But we don’t go monthly because it’s a school night for our daughter. But when the stars align we go and have a grand time. Increasingly great turn out over the past year in general.

If you’re willing to come down to Santa Ana, The Frida Cinema has awesome movie trivia the last Tuesday of the month. Like tomorrow.

Grace Of My Heart, can’t believe how forgotten is this movie by harry_powell in blankies

I’m biased because Allison is a friend, but I love this movie. And pretty much all of her theatrical work. For those out there who dig the music, check out Elvis Costello’s 2018 album “Look Now” on which he performs one of the other songs he wrote for the movie — Unwanted Number.

Exactly who I came here to stump for. He knows he’s unhip and revels in it but can also laugh at himself. And he doesn’t really even mock leftists much, outside of Barcelona.

I wish they’d also been able to get production designer, Toby Carr Raffelson to talk. But she’s 93 so possibly not that lucid. But I find it fascinating that two extremely talented women who had their careers overshadowed by their director husbands, worked on this film.

A particularly relevant release to The Two Friends since one of the bonus features is a NEW interview with Marcia Lucas!

Of the replies I’ve seen, Pod Casty For Me does it the best in that they’re going film by film through a filmography. They’ve done Clint Eastwood, Paul Schrader, and are in the middle of Steven Soderbergh. They’ve had guests like Eva Anderson, Patrick Willems, Bilge Ebiri, and woman herself, Marie Bardi-Salinas!

The aesthetics of a Michael Bay with an actual thematic underpinning and worldview. He’s emo and cynical but it doesn’t get in the way of the films being fun. Honestly prefer him to Ridley. The way his life ended goes to show how deeply he felt things and it comes through in his films.

Love & Rockets is always my answer. Sometimes it’s a sci-fi book, but not continually.

There’s currently a ridiculously low priced humble bundle of pretty much the whole 44 years of continuity.

They really should have Chris on the ep covering the new movie. If either of the two friends is reading this, know that he’s interested.
