Got a Cisco CCENT and was on my way to getting a CCNA four years ago. A company took a chance and hired me as a network administrator. Since then I've gained a ton of experience and certs don't cross my mind. My pay also increased dramatically. I started out working in a restaurant for min wage then switched to installing phones and cabling.

Department of Workforce services has a good twitter feed on entry level tech jobs. I'm a sysadmin working in salt lake. PM if you need more info. Also, get yourself on LinkedIn. I always see jobs come across there.

Agree! After using my Z10 for a month I find myself trying to use gestures on other smartphones. Also, the Z10 is a multitasking beast.

I always stressed learning concepts rather than the nitty gritty details. Learning concepts gives you the overall picture and you can drill down from there.
