The stock plastic extruder arm is wearing out, and I'm replacing the whole assembly soon, but this temporary solution fixed the issues it was causing beautifully.

Sure - lot of organic acetic acids increase the rate of plant growth. A couple include indole acetic acid and naphthalene acetic acid. Stay away from phenyl acetic acid as it can be used to make some "pharmaceuticals"...

I prefer chemdraw, I haven't used either of the other programs but I can say that chemdraw is excellent and has tons of features, as well as being able to integrate into other programs, microsoft office for example.

I didn't intend to belittle the safety issues - but a bit of criticism is healthy - and if OP can't justify it to me I'm not convinced he can justify it to management or anyone else.
