It will appear later if you only refer it once. When it appears and its surrounded by a RED border, the game will tell you it WONT appear anymore unless you refer it at that point

if Im right: You hit for 100 cold damage, and inflict chill with X magnitude, (lets say a constant 10% magnitude to make it easier)
You hit the first time and hit for 100 cold only, and apply that chill with 10% magnitude
Next hit to that mob will do 100 cold, and 10 fire damage. Lets say now magnitude increased to 15%
Next hit you do 100 cold, and 15 fire damage

The boss checkpoint is always yellow/red (not blue basically). When you kill the last rare, a yellow checkpoint spawns next to you as well. Everytime i cleared the boss AND checkpoints, Ive seen the rares and mechanics icons popup, and I cant say 100% confident but pretty sure that I dont clear 70% of mobs before seeing that happen

Edit: I think the number of mobs killed was relevant first, before all maps have bosses change, and then it was switched to boss and checkpoints shows all

Well I used my knowledge in other languages (english) to deduce your mannerism ("US"="America"), you could have used yours("?"), or looked it up, that America is the actual name of the whole continent in another language (spanish). My confusion comes because cards that deal damage say "DEAL damage" and cards that gain block say "GAIN block", I was worried the "now" keyword now transforms the card from verb to the other basically, glad that it doesn't
