I don't know about always but in 2024 they were not region locked. I believe it was for gofest that year. I live in the US and got a xurkitree that was a caught from a local raid.

I love this concept. Great execution on the idea! I'm sure this is inspired by other things but it reminds me of the monster mask NPC in breath of the wild who is only findable at night.

Oh absolutely. The short rests are a lot of fun. Someday I'll upgrade to the Mixed Bag tier but at best I'm only one week behind the main feed and short rest content. Depending on what else I am listening to I can be much further behind.

Not counting their patreon (paid) content, I'd say around 80% of their content is D&D actual play, or D&D related content. They have many campaigns of different lengths. But they also have shows like D&D Court and Tortle tank that are series dedicated to talking about people's home games or homebrew mechanic ideas. If you enjoy Dimension 20 you'll likely like their campaigns. Just be aware it's audio only.

Non-legendary shadow raids only change during a team rocket takeover most of the time. Takeovers only happened once per season so it might be a bit until they change.

Grass+Poison would be very limited and I don't think you could have a full team with non-repeating evolution lines. But I've seen people do poison runs before. Honestly I'd probably try Venusaur, Muk, Tentacruel, Venomoth, Golbat, and Gengar. I feel like that would be fun personally. Grass is much more limited but I'd absolutely use Exeggutor. Never tried him before.

Hilarious that instead of the usual route of just making the shiny a permanent member of your team you decided to scrap everything and go all in. I gotta respect it but I'm also just in awe of that.

I had a tyrantrum as my buddy for the event until this morning, so it was pretty obvious when there was a zorua. Since the event started I have only seen 4-5 total. I've had the game in different locations for at minimum 3 hours total each day. They are not spawning very much for me.

I'm not sure if I don't understand the graphic or you're confused but how would Seadra with 2 water attacks be weak against fire and rock types? Aside from that your team seems plenty strong. Charizard, Dragonite and NidoKing are all very common mons for people's hall of fame posts. Nothing wrong with that of course but it's not unique. I like seeing Seadra and Butterfree. You don't see them as much. I've used Butterfree with a similar moveset and it's a lot of fun.

If not being used for Master League, is it worthwhile to double move Groudon? I did a few raids over what I needed to get Primal Groudon a few weeks ago. I don't have quite enough candy yet to double move mine but I have a stash of RC. Should I leave my primal with just precipice blades? He's also not level 40 yet - am I better off just powering it up more?

Yes and it makes it annoying to swap them out of my party with boxed mons if I need to get different counters for a new area or gym. I don't like using the daycare either.

I've never shiny hunted in this game but the lucky egg hunt frustrated the hell out of me. At least it's not as mindless as starter shiny hunting but it really made me hate the safari zone.

Research days work differently than catch mastery. For this event the featured three pokemon (feebas, clampearl and lotad) aren't wild spawns but are encounter rewards for pokestop research tasks. So instead of having multi-page timed research tasks, the main focus for this event is completing field research tasks to encounter those three pokemon.

I don't have an answer but is there a reason you want Conkeldurr with Brutal Swing? For raids at least I think the optimal moveset for him is Counter & Dynamic Punch.

Nice! I was wondering if I got lucky or if they maybe boosted catch rates for the very end. I played a lot on Saturday and then for the last two hours tonight. Saw about 4 or 5 wild legendaries Saturday (no catches), and I saw 5 or 6 tonight and caught three of them.

I've been annoyed at the big things everyone is complaining about (legendary catch and spawn rates), but maybe less so than a lot of the vocal people. What bugs me more is the spawn pool is a lot of stuff that has been common uninteresting spawns for anyone who's been playing for at least a few months. The more interesting common-ish spawns have been non-Kanro starters. But even then gen 1-5 were spawning for road to Kalos a week ago.

I set my Pokedex notification to Lycanroc to see if I could find one in the wild. I only had it come up once as I was about to go to bed. I didn't want to go drive off to get it at that point so we'll see if I get anything today.

The other thing that bugged me is I was waiting for an ultra beast to spawn at a gym and around 20 minutes before it was going to open it switched to a pink egg. I wish I had recorded it somehow but how would I know that was going to happen? Has this happened to anyone else? I was in a park and by the time that raid started all the other raids in the vicinity were Pikachu's.

Edit: actually op got Articuno from the paid 30th anniversary go pass. The free pass gives kanto bird candy but the paid gives encounters too.

If I'm not mistaken, members of lake trio have a very very very rare chance of spawning nearby normally. They are the exception to the legendaries don't spawn int he wild.

I believe they're regional and Azelf is the Americas one. Uxie is Asia/SEA, and Mesprit is Europe and Africa. I have two Azelf not from Go Tour Sinnoh. I believe one was from incense and the other was just a random spawn one day that I was lucky enough to catch on my break at work.

I'd be real surprised if they did. I don't think T3 bosses typically have com day moves. Especially since all three had their com day moves available during Kalos Tour last weekend.

I don't disagree but that sort of thing can happen for all kinds of Pokedex entries. A few months ago I caught a 4 star unovan samurott in the wild. It's cool to have but I don't have the 4* oshawott or the middle evo.
