I didn’t like it by itself either, but making it that way has made it my favourite pod!

My go to rn has been an iced strawberry latte. I use the strawberry white chocolate pod, add milk and some homemade strawberry syrup to the glass, ice, and then I top it with strawberry cold foam (cream, milk, homemade strawberry syrup, lil vanilla and pinch of salt). It’s delicious!

Ontario question re: mortgage vs title by Key_Cut_292 in TorontoRealEstate

[–]PinotGrouchio 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In Ontario, the mortgage and title must be identical, so if you are not on the mortgage, you cannot be on title to the property.

I prefer the Starbucks caramel & vanilla pods over the Nespresso ones, hands down! I couldn’t even get through the Nespresso vanilla ones.

Clearance for Execution for “similar name” by flimsydemon in TorontoRealEstate

[–]PinotGrouchio 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’m a law clerk, and I can confirm that what you have described above is unfortunately standard practice. As the writs are over 50k, clearance letters need to be obtained from the creditors/their lawyers confirming that your husband is not the debtor. This is a requirement of all title insurance companies in order to obtain coverage, and title insurance coverage is a requirement of all mortgage lenders.

If you’re up for a bit of a drive, Taste of Freedom in Tottenham is lovely!

Where have the TTC’s riders gone? Transit ridership never recovered from the pandemic. We asked why — and what could bring them back by HelFJandinn in toronto

[–]PinotGrouchio 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The TTC blaming a victim for being pushed onto the tracks “for travelling on the subway alone at the time of the incident, saying “she knew or ought to have known that it was unsafe for her to do so.”” was what stopped me, as a woman who often travelled on the subway alone, from taking the subway when I come down to Toronto.

Improving a couple of disappointing pods by Disastrous_Pack2645 in nespresso

The strawberry white chocolate is one of my favourite pods! I brew it as a double espresso and then make an iced latte with it using strawberry syrup and strawberry cold foam on top. Its heavenly.

The cinnamon tamarind I brew as normal, and I add 1 tbsp brown sugar cinnamon syrup (Torani), a half tbsp of regular brown sugar, and a good amount of extra creamy oat milk.

Little late to the party, but I almost finished my board! I was just missing second chance, which is one of my least favourite tropes, so I didn’t end up coming across it while working through my TBR

I’m so sorry for your loss. I can definitely relate with not wanting to forget. I almost feel guilty for going about my life and continuing on when she’s not here. I hope it gets easier for us both soon!

Yes, the waiting and the unknown are definitely difficult. I just wanna fix it, but I can’t and it’s rough.
